The coffee from my drip pot is pretty good and I love the coffee from my french press, but occasionally, I really enjoy a cup of instant coffee.
Good Morning, y'all. I don't know what it is about instant coffee that I sometimes like. I got some cappuccino the other day, since I'd run out. It won't do to not have anything in the house. I try to keep several types of tea, ground coffee and or beans, instant chai mix and instant cappuccino on hand. I like variety, obviously. Sometimes I also make homemade chai, but not that often these days as I used to.
I have a lot of hair, but I'd be bald if there were no internet. I've tried to imagine what life for seniors was like before we could just reach out with our fingers an touch someone. I wonder if today's seniors are happier, or if it makes things harder? I think it might even prolong our lives. How about you.
@Ina I. Wonder - I agree with you, its a good distraction for people that can't get out and about Also to share your feelings on things, loneliness is so awful .........
I think there are pluses and minuses. I do think the internet's great for those who are shut in or just don't get out much, assuming they use the internet. My mom pays for it, but doesn't use it unless my brother pulls something up for her to see, such as a YouTube video. It seems some doctors and facilities are using tele-health to conduct remote health visits, and that could be particularly helpful for those who live at a distance and need frequent check-ups. I just brushed my hair and it hurt like heck. Apparently my migraine isn't entirely gone. I'll have to medicate before going downstairs, and plan my day accordingly.
The sky is beautiful today. About 3/4 of it is dark with storm clouds, there's a portion of blue sky, and now the sun is shining. I'm really hoping the storms move through without flooding, but the lower temperatures remain. Not very realistic, but I can always hope.
I'm wondering if I could live in one of those 10x12 storage sheds for a couple of months. I need a temporary place to lay my head between selling my place and purchasing another in Dayton. I was planning on buy a storage shed anyway for the zero turn lawn mower and gardening stuff.
Probably not Ina, that's a tough time between selling and buying, we did it a few times and I can't remember what we did. Usually work out a deal somehow but don't remember exactly. We did move a few times, think we've owned at least 6-7 homes total. I don't remember renting so timing must have been on our side. Can you stay with P.?
I love Patricia, but she is a hoarder. I haven't been able to go into her home for several years now. My OCD screams at even the thought. I'm sure it's a big reason as to why Bobert likes staying with me.
I can understand that because I'm the opposite of a hoarder. Well, you've got some stressful times coming up...I hate moving.
