I personally enjoy drinking a warm green or raspberry tea along while eating my meal. How about you folks?
Love coffee but switched over to tea for now. Like green, black, peppermint, orange and cinnamon so far. Tried oolong but don't like it so much.
I like both coffee and tea; but very seldom drink tea, either cold or hot. In the winter, I might make a hot cup of tea now and then, but i usually drink coffee every morning. I especially love flavored coffee ! Ken told us about Coffee Fools on Amazon, and I discovered that they carry the regular coffee like he buys; but they also have all kinds of delicious flavored coffee. Most of the brand name coffee is way out of my budget ($10-$15 for 12 oz); but I discovered that Amazon has some on closeout for under $5 , you just hve to go through the list and check all of the prices. Most of the Amazon coffee is an add-on item; so when I am ordering my paper towels, or other order, then I search for discounted coffee and add that on to the order as well. @Joyce Mcgregor is my neighbor; so I usually share some with her, and we have enjoyed trying all sorts of interesting flavors of coffee.
I usually drink coffee through mid-afternoon, then switch to tea. On my rough days (IBS/Ulcer), I skip the coffee, though, so drink more tea and water.
Sounds great, did you like the cinnamon tea? I have drank the Karpathian tea from Greece, I brought it from my vacation there.
Earl Grey is the man for me. While I like a decent cup of coffee, I restrict myself to the occasional one now and then. Tea is a different matter, though I have cut down to around ten cups a day, more through the protests of an ageing bladder than anything else.
I bought it at my local grocery store. It came in a box and is in tea bags. Don't remember the brand. Next time I go to the store I'll get some more since I'm out of it now.
I agree with Tom. I love Earl Grey tea. When I was younger, I drank coffee all day long, with only an occasional cup of tea. Now I've reversed that. I have one cup of coffee in the morning, and tea the rest of the day. I insist on it being very strong, very sweet, very creamy and very hot! If I have time to really indulge myself in the evening, I have some shortbread and jam with it.
We are not coffee drinkers and my husband even has banned coffee. He has his personal reasons for that - his uncle died of heart ailment due to anxiety attacks caused by excessive coffee. But I sometimes drink coffee when I am in a formal dinner or in hotel restaurants. That is to help me digest that food that I ate. With tea, I prefer the iced tea to cool me during summer. But at home, soda is our choice drink during meals especially during a hot summer noon. But in the morning, it is either milk or fruit juice for us. Pardon me, coffee drinkers, no offense meant.
I never was one for coffee, because I never liked its taste. Sure, it smells really good, but the taste is in no way or shape affiliated. That being said, I always was a sucker for tea, especially iced tea. Ever since I was young, I would ask my mother (now I ask my wife) to make some tea and put some ice cubes in it. Delicious drink.
I only drink black coffee in the mornings but I also like tea. Iced tea in hot weather and various teas in the winter.
