Now to me, this is funny. This morning on Fox News they reported that a fisherman in the Philippines found a 75 pound pearl in a clam. He had been keeping it under his bed for 10 years as a good luck charm. What the ... ? I would have had my lucky piece in the hands of a banker as soon as I could wheel my wheel barrel to him. Can you imagine the party you could throw in the Philippines? Maybe the dude was happy without the fortune he could have gotten for his pearl. Duh naw, not me. I'd want to let everyone see the lucky charm, at a reasonable price. I want to get to the point that just looking at something under my bed makes me feel rich, and happy.
I live by a few of those, Ina. Yep, I would have sold that pearl! Although at this point in my life I'd rather have a companion than money, I could care less about money now....I don't want anything. A companion that drove would be awesome right now. I'm dreading my drive cause I'm sleepy. In a few days I have to come back and have a week to pack up for being away until the middle of October. I'm always drained the day after I drive home so one less day to do everything. It's just not packing but making sure all my ducks at home are in a row and everything is taken care of including stopping mail delivery, etc. I'm too OCD to just ...Go. Someone to help would be great!!
@Patsy Faye I've been waiting to see what answers you might get with that question. But I see you've stumped not only me. And here I thought someone would show us a connection with the Big Bang theory. Here's a thought that ran across my mind. (?) To have hope one needs to be full of life and energy, and to be able to look at life for it's promise despite it's nightmares. Do you think that will work?
Bangs: "The term bangs originally referred to a hair cut bang-off (straight across at the front), although the term is now applied to diverse forms of hair stylings. It is probably related to bang-tail, a term still used for the practice of cutting horses' tails straight across.". "Bangs, also called a fringe outside of North America, is a shaped cutting of the front part of the hair so that it lies over the forehead. ".
I'm on a roll, so here's another random thought. I just noticed one of my ears is higher than the other. I've heard this before, so now I wonder if everyone's ears are that way. Also, is it the same ear that is high on everyone?
