Believe it or not I actually have a bag next to my night stand that I have my most important papers, my meds, a few precious to me pieces of jewelry and my purse gets put in there at night too that has my cards and checkbook and keys...if there is a fire that's all I have to grab besides Pickles. Nothing else is important anyway...just stuff. I also like to have some cash, just in case. If there is a fire at night, my bed is right next to the patio door to the back yard...I'm out of the house in a flash. It would be better if I parked my car in my driveway instead of my garage but that's asking too much.

Mornin'. I'm getting a late start this AM. I ache all over. Could easily have just stayed in bed and watched TV all day. But, today is grocery day. We got another hot day. The sky people said it's gonna be cooler than yesterday. Yesterday was 93. Today is supposed to be 87. Whoopie!. Six degrees cooler, but with thunderboomies later. That's the source of my aches this AM. Anyway, as always, I'm thankful to be alive and able to function as well as I am. Tonight is the lottery drawing. I have no tickets but my x wifey and most of my kids do. I really wish any of them could at least win some of the bigger amounts. Me? All I want is my youth back. I'd like to go back to 1954 and go through high school again, knowing what I know now. I'd be so different. I'd save every nickle I could and when I got my driving license I'd buy a motorcycle. There was a couple guys in my class I wish I had thumped back then. If I could go back, they'd get soo thumped. Enough day dreaming. I need more coffee, and a couple pain pills. Y'all get out and enjoy hump day. If you can't get out, think of past fun hump days.
Good Morning kiddos...Nothing like remembering as soon as you get up that you forgot to buy something at the store you needed for tonight's dinner! Oh well, I will make something else..although not too many choices! I am not going to the store for one thing. It would be a waste of gas, and I have to go out tommorrow anyway. It is looking like rain this morning, and I hope that it does..we have had hardly any rain since August 1. Cool now, although it is supposed to be very hot oh and my favorite...not!! humid. It will be a pain, but Fall is really coming, more breeze in the air..leaves turning color and dropping off...yes...we really will have a Fall..although maybe a warm one, if you believe the weather reports! Take me back to the 60s or even 70s and I'll be as happy as Larry - whoever he is In a way, I haven't moved on but my body has, what a shame, I must have really wore meself out with me running about and dancing. We could have been made better though ................
Good morning everyone! I'm in charge , daughter left very early this morning. It's a nice day weatherwise, with a high if 71. I have a school project to help the 12 yr old. Need to buy poster board etc. when I pick him up from school we will go and get the supplies he needs. Hope your days get cooler, @Patsy Faye.
@Chrissy Page - unfortunately it gets hotter as the day goes on We are considering 'doubling up' on the blackout lining in the lounge, by going for blackout curtains plus the lining we have There's not much choice of pattern and colour though, all I've managed is to ask for 'two' samples !'
Good Morning. Time to start taking the back off our old stove and seeing if it is time for an upgrade. Someone in our house wants a new smooth surface one. If I think this one is shot, I Might give in. ( that sounded pretty brave, didn't it ! )
Good Morning Class! Today is starting out with a whiz bang! tried to call health center this AM no computer, the router was down. After finally getting the number they wouldn't answer the phone. Then I go in there had an appoitnment to sell projector at 10:30. She said the medical staff doesn't come in until late today. They couldn't say that on the phone, or have a recording! Anyway, had already planned to meet person and have breakfast,,,of course she didn't show...and didn't get on computer at Mcd's until 2 minutes before I left...Sigh! then car was dinging and wouldn't stop! It has been a day...and it is only noon!
