I just set my dvr to record it on my local Fox channel. It's on all the local networks plus CNN and Fox. Starting at 9:00 p.m. EST. The event will be moderated by Lester Holtof NBC Nightly News, though all major networks (NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, CNN, Fox News, Fox Business, CNBC, MSNBC, Univision, and C-SPAN) will be carrying the event live beginning at 9 p.m. EST. Unlike the primary debates which were sponsored and organized by a major broadcast network each time, the general election events are put together by the bipartisan Commission on Presidential Debates, allowing all network equal access to the broadcasting rights. The event goes from 9 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. with no commercial interruptions, and will be broken down into six 15-minute segments spanning a wide variety of topics up to Holt’s choosing. Responses will largely be two minutes in length, allowing ample time for follow-up and discussion on each topic. May the best MAN win!
I won't be watching tonight so tomorrow morning when I wake up I hope to see some positive comments here. I sure would like to be a fly on the wall where both are getting ready! Also when I was recording, it asked if I want to set past the 10:30 finish time by 30 mins? Wonder what could make it go longer if everything is set time?
Thanks so much Chrissy I think I'll be watching on Youtube live-stream through my Roku 2 LOL, yes, may the best man win, LOL!!
Ok, ready to roll, I get Fox News on my Roku 2 and I have the video pulled up on my bigscreen, yeehaw!! Here we go, 65 minutes to go and counting, tap tap tap, LOL!
Oh shoot, it keeps flickin off?? Maybe I better go down to the rec-room and watchin on the big TV. Hmm, guess cable is still better than Roku, or "smart-tv" LOL!!
Maybe you should...are most of the people in your building Trump fans? If you know. I can't watch it live, stresses me out too much, especially before bed. I'd rather read tomorrow what is being said but I want a record of it because you know the truth will be hard to find unless you saw it with your own eyes. Spin has been getting worse and worse. There should be a law against it.
"I can't watch it live, stresses me out too much, especially before bed." Lucky for me, I have few scruples, and even less "inner-support", or gut-instinct, for the rapaciousness of politicians in general, and so curled up on my easy-chair and dozed off. Then, the alarm awakened me:.......falling asleep during a candidates' debate? Shame on me! I should have slept before it started. Frank
Okay, what happened in the debate? As per the newscast at lunch hour (that's 2 hours after the debate), I heard that Clinton had won the debate. I don't know the details and I also don't know who said that. But I think the debate was about government policies that included the issue of ISIS. I'm sure the internet is rife with the details of the debate and the news tonight will surely have a full report on that debate.
