Ha, you're welcome, @Patsy Faye. I think it was probably in the movie Lucky You. I posted a trailer to it in the movies/entertainment thread. I watched it the other night .
@Diane Lane - I'm duet-ting with him as I type - Ooo he's just too marvellous - too marvellous for words Did you like the movie ?
Nice @Honey Gee, I don't think I've ever heard him before, but I like him. I want to understand the words when I listen to music, and that is not always possible with some music. Where is he from? I'll have to check out his other stuff.
Hi Ina Paul is from the UK. He originally sang with the band Genesis. I have, seen him in concert a few times, is brilliant live. A really good night if entertainment
Thank you @Honey Gee, Nice! That is a song I think that we all can relate to in many ways, I wonder if he has much of a following here in America? If so, I wonder why I never heard him before? In a way he reminds me of our country music. I grew up on country music. I, like so many, found the new music of the 60's & 70's to be new and exciting. But, by the 90's, I was back to country. This is my favorite song. This song was brought to me right after I had cancer the second time, and again when my oldest son was murdered in 93. Then as I lost the others in my family, this song always came straight at me. I have lost almost everyone in my family, and this song makes me pull myself together every time. I hope you like it.
Love that Ina. Paul is very well known in the UK. Here is a little bit about him. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Carrack
When I need to go inside myself I listen to different kinds of Native American music. If I concentrate on just the music I can stop thinking in words, and I just let feelings wash over me.
Hi Patsy, Yes, I have seen it before, and enjoy it every time I watch it. I started a thread about it under Entertainment - Movies. I think it's available for a few dollars on YouTube. Here's what I'm listening to today. I watched Hitman again the other day, and the song's been going through my head ever since, so I decided to share, so it can go through everyone else's head, too.
