@Magalina Lilis I think that I would manage those 10 hours in plane, but there's also a problem in having cash for that flight, and for staying in the States, it would definitely require a lot of money. I always book my flights a few months before going on a trip. This June I was in Greece at an island, and I did book my flight in December, so about 5 months earlier.

Thank you, I live in Toruń. It's my hometown. It's definitely a beautiful town, and looks great at night. Toruń is at the Unesco list for it's monuments.

Sometimes to save money, I stay at a hostel. I admit luggage can be tricky. It is helpful when the establishment has a locked cage to store your possessions while out and about.

Oh Greece, lucky you! Too bad they are having difficult financial burdens. It was one of my top places to study early historical events. Now with your mention of Torun, I am intrigued and look forward to learning more about this area and Poland in general. I looked over the information on the Unesco site about Torun. Fasinating to say the least.

What caught my immediate attention (also thanks to your posted pictures) is the architecture and the layout of your town; such as, the Grey Friars - Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Teutonic Knights castle museum, etc.

Also, pretty cool that you share the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus. The image below is featured in your old town hall. Have you ever been in to see it? I love to to admire old paintings up close and personal. For now, I will be content with the internet. thanks for posting your latest images!

Here is another painting that I think gives a good portrayal of him.

The very same. I don't actually live in Edinburgh, but I live quite near and I flew to Krakow from Edinburgh.

The landscape in Edinburgh is very intriguing, I lived 5 years in Ireland and I managed to take a trip to Scotland.

Edinburgh was formed by volcanoes, one reason it is very hilly. I live across the Firth of Forth, in Fife, so we get a good view of Edinburgh. You can see a lot of old volcanic rock on the coastline. We can also see the Forth Bridge from the living room.

Well, we're don't have quite the view that the photo depicts, but we can see the bridge, as long as it's not misty outside.
