@Ina I. Wonder, when my husband was dying the volunteer from hospice bought a CD to play that she had made
of Native American music....it was very peaceful.
she just wrote "hospice" on it...came across it the other day when I was looking for something else and was tempted to play it but couldn't remember if I still had a CD player.

@Chrissy Page I love music that is soothing and uplifting. When I was younger I enjoyed what my parents called that "crazy fast hopping" music. It was fun and happy dance music, but a total no no to my father.

Native American music is so haunting, but I can hear each note on it's own, and it males me "feel", instead of think.

And then there is always Soul Kings......

Can you believe that song is around 50 years old. How many of you ladies had this song dedicated to you? It was dedicated a least a couple of times to me. Oh .... the sadness and dreams of youth.

I'm so glad those times are over. For me it was a confusing and anxious period. I wouldn't replay those events for anything.

Now days I'm happy to sit back and watch others go haywire as they grow through this faze. It does make for good TV.

That one of my favorite songs @Gary Ridenour. It's still played daily around here. Good ole kicker music. This song was good for line dancing back in the day.

Tomorrow night is a concert to honor the 2016 Musicians Hall of Fame inductees here in Nashville.
Those performing are: Garth Brooks, Peter Frampton, Bruce Hornsby and Ricky Skaggs.
    One of my favorites:
