Hopefully most of us will be online here on Tuesday evening. I think polls close at 7 0r 8 p.m. In Ca. But I'm pretty sure it's a given that we're going for Hillary as is Oregon and Washington. So I might be able to stay up for some of it. Might bring some goodies...think we could all use some stiff drinks, even the ones that don't drink. I'll be having a Xanax.
ill stay up as late as I can then ill crash. the pundits can party. im to old anyway. Wed morn we'll know
same here. I have no idea why but ill wake up at odd hours during the night. I may get back to sleep maybe not.
We'll have a thread here for it, like we have for the last two debates. As interested as I am though, I don't stay up all night on election night though, and most often I wake up the next morning to find that things have gone bad while I was asleep. I usually go to bed around midnight or one a.m. I wish there was a way that we could ensure a fair election in this country because a large percentage of the country doesn't trust that we'll have an honest election. One thing I hang on are the word of one person who predicted wide-scale cheating. She said that it's a lot easier to steal a close election than one that isn't so close, so I'm hoping it goes widely in the right direction.
Yes, cheating will be the main issue...just adding more stress to an already stress filled election. It's going to be a night I'll have trouble falling asleep...just like with the World Series I kept popping up and putting on my glasses to look at Twitter. True that here it was only 9 p.m. When the game finally ended...I got up too early that day.
I'm usually up till 3AM anyway. And I'm off Tuesday, I requested it off a couple of months ago. I knew better than to be at work. A good drink is a good idea. Thanks for the reminder, I'm out. Need to stop for Vodka!
To say the least, the Election will be interesting. But, since my wife gets up at 6:30AM to get ready for work, and I get up the same time as well, we sure aren't going to stick to the tv all night. I really want Hillary to win, but now, don't care if Trump wins.
I will accept whoever wins also...I always have. It's time for a change though but if it doesn't happen, there is always 2020.
