After Johnny Cash's death, the vault at the House Of Cash held many treasures. Among them were master tapes marked "Personal File" with songs, never recorded. "The Fast Song" was one of them.

Getting ready to watch/listen to a Deep Purple dvd.......Live in Concert 72/73. Has hits, such as: Highway Star, Space Truckin', Smoke On The Water and Burn on it. If you were a fan of this group back then, do you remember one of their first hits? It was Hush. I love this group because of all the keyboard music in it.

LOVE that song also. Actually, had to march to that when I graduated from "boot camp" at Great Lakes Naval Training Center.

You know what they say, Denise....."once a Rocker, always a Rocker". Yep, they were definitely talking about me.:D

It's true for me @Cody Fousnaugh I thought as I got older I wouldn't like the same music, wrong, LOL!! I was just checking/sorting through my cd's because a recently got a DVD Player:) Found a bunch of Pink Floyd and Journey. I had lots of other faves as well, but back then I had albums, 8 tracks, cassettes;) Sadly I lost a lot of my music through the years, but thank God for Internet;)

The first time I saw the Harmonicats on Ed Sullivan Show I was hooked.

Then I heard Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee in the 60's and blues harp became my goal.

Now I'm much older and find myself trying to get the sound of 'Toots' when I'm by myself. I've come full circle...

Funny, but my wife didn't like her son listening to AC/DC and now, since being with me, she likes a few tunes from them. She's also a fan of Journey, Bon Jovi and Grand Funk Railroad.

I've never been into some of the old music that some members on here like.

Just like Country Music, we like the older stuff of George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Shania Twain, Garth Brooks, Diamond Rio and so on. None of this new country music for us!

Add Disco, Motown and some "Oldies" and we are in 7th Heaven.

Oh yeah, and I was all about Motown;) I was the dancer in the family, two bro's were drummers and actually had bands, played around town is all:) My brother still makes music, puts some things up on CDBaby. Guitar man now though;)

I will always love these guys, and too many really, to list here:) We were blessed with music, something for everyone:)
