Oh gaggers Ike, LOL!! Well, I won't buy chicken noodle soup because they are too tight with the chicken:( I throw everything, including a chicken, or part of, in a pot and let it stew for a few hours. Throw in some vegies, and have soup for about 3 days. If it's a bigger batch, I freeze some;) I know some aren't able to cook, and some don't know how in my building. I feel bad for them as most of them eat down at the senior center, and they don't get a lot of real nutrition.

If you ever want to a pot'a' sumpin, I will guide you through it;) I also eat a lot of vegies, real easy to throw an acorn squash in the of for 40 or more minutes on 350. Just rub some olive oil on it, salt and pepper, there you have it;) I like to drip my own, little sauce on it before eating. Cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter;)

I went through a really hard physical exam yesterday, so all my joints are inflamed today, and it generally takes a couple days for things to get back in order. That's why I was wondering how the grocery delivery thing worked. I was really not looking forward to dragging out The Mean Machine out.

LOL, here's my poor, tossed aside monkey I found in the tree one christmas morn;) Got my Annie on, and forgot about him, but only for a short time. He was back in my arms again for sure:)
Oh Ina, I know some of the ladies here are in wheelchairs. They are troopers, just like you though. I guess this life shows us how strong we really are doesn't it. I hope you can start getting your groceries delivered. I think all you need to do is call you supermarket, and they'll give you a price for delivery. Then probably sheets to pick out what you want each time. You could probably email yours to them. I know our Safeway does this, but I am so close to it, about 2 miles.

Another month another Thursday have a good day and remember it's 388 shopping days to Christmas 2017 output_JZMy08.gif

It's 1c ..........sorry @Ina I. Wonder I forget most of you on here are in the US and use Fahrenheit, my mind somehow forgot it when we converted to metric, there are formulas but I will try and quote both.
A rule of thumb is 0c is freezing point 100c is boiling water so 20c to 25c are in the human comfort zone 68F to 78F...so today it's around 34F not so comfortable out m0KUfKazSzO4hTu2pptB.gif

Morning all. Have a great day.

What a day yesterday. I managed to get trapped in the door of the bus? The driver accidentally closed the door on me. He was actually trying to close the rear door but closed the front one.

It's ok folks I was unhurt apart from my pride.

The poor bus driver was mortified.

Good morning everyone. I haven't been keeping up so I hope you all are doing well. I had a good doctor visit yesterday, he said my knee was coming along fine. Had lunch with my cousin (that story is in another post).
Cold front went thru yesterday, 'sposed to be 20 degrees colder today than yesterday.

    Morning All
@Sheldon Scott guess that front is heading our way here in Tennessee, feels colder this morning.
Have the day off again, and the wife wants the inside Christmas stuff put up or at least started.

    Enjoy the Day...

Greetings from high atop the third floor of one of my town's 4 skyscrapers. It's 37 frosty degrees under an overcast sky today.
My laundry basket is overflowing, but guess what. Not in a laundry mood. Don't care.
My son gave me a loaf of bread loaded with black walnuts, the tastiest of the walnuts. Delicious. A gal he works with made it. When I hit the powerball, I'm gonna hire her to cook and bake for me.
My gramps used to harvest black walnuts. There used to be lots of walnut trees around town. Most people were happy to have someone rake 'em up and take 'em away. It was my job to help gramps gather, dry and hull 'em. He wouldn't let me crack and pick out the meat. I would eat 'em as fast as I picked it out.
Gramps would sit at the table for hours cracking walnuts and filling small fruit jars with the nut meats. Some he gave to family, the rest he took to the bar and traded for drinks. So, that's my nutty story.
Yesterday was a productive day in the ongoing conservative vs liberal war. Our local noospaper site and TV site were both active and alive with verbal battles and skirmishes. It's pretty hard for a lib to win an argument when their side was so badly beaten up in the elections.:D
So, I'm off to hunt for more liberal prey. Be careful out there. On the plus side, there's more good guys walking around with guns now. :)

    Howdy on a wonderful morning!
Did some crunches and reverse crunches intermixed by a couple sets of planks. I have two racks of spare ribs in the smoker with a combination of hickory and apple wood. Should be righteous in about 7 or 8 hours.
Laundry just came out of the washer and the dryer is spinning and the garbage is waiting along side of the curb for the garbage truck.

Now, it's definitely time for a big mug of Kenyan coffee just to get my heart going and eyes open a little wider.
34 degrees outside so I doubt if we'll be doing much with the property.

hmmmm........might be a great day to work in my wood shop and/or run to the gym for a good workout and some time in the steam room while the wife does her stuff in the pool. yeah.....I like that.

    Ya'll have a happy! Blessings............

I always wondered what that man does in the early mornings before I wake up........... now I know ! (He is SUCH a wonderful man ! ) I always wake up to a fresh pot of coffee, which I then "doctor up" until it doesn't look or taste like plain coffee anymore.
I love all of the flavored coffees, and if I have some later in the day, I use my small coffee pot and make a cup of the flavored stuff.
Chipper doesn't like coffee, but he always has a dab of the cream in his little bowl every morning when I pour my coffee.

It is bright and sunny here today; but really cold, too. I think that it is supposed to get even colder, from what I was reading yesterday. In early December, we are supposed to get an Arctic blast that comes down and across Canada and then the western United States, and then spreads across the country and off of the eastern coast. Some places will be well below zero temperatures according to the information.
Here is the video, and I will probably share it in the climate section too, in case people miss reading it here. It doesn't say if it will affect Europe, but it very likely might do that, too.
