The grandkids haven't arrived yet, but here's a photo from last year. They should be here in an hour or so.
I bet your grandkids will be about as tall as you two now. Have a great time with them. Love the smile on "Super Girl" and your long hair Ken!
No, but since I am no longer working as a paramedic, or teaching, there's no reason not to grow my hair. Eventually, I'll get tired of it and cut it short again.
Smashing photo and I do like the hair, don't cut it while the weather is chilly and you could always tie it back - nice

You and Michele have a beautiful Family Ken. And you and Michele look very cute together. I hope all of you are having a wonderful time together. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
While it's nice to travel and great to see the grandkids and their father, it's also very nice to be home again. Although we had someone come in and check up on the cats every day, scooping the litter boxes, and keeping the water and food bowls full, this was the longest we had been away from Ella, our youngest kitty, and she seems a little unsure of herself now. She's been going between my wife and I wanting to be picked up and petted. Cutie, on the other hand, is angry with me. Perhaps Lydia too, but it's hard to tell with her. She's been hanging out upstairs by herself tonight.
I'd like to offer a travel tip. It's a good idea not to leave a can of soda/pop in the freezer when you leave on a one-week trip.
Did it explode? I'm leaving for a month soon but I don't drink soda so it won't be a problem. I'm so OCD that I put everything that can melt into a freezer bag in case the power goes out while I'm gone and my sf popsicles melt. There's also a hack you can do involving water frozen in a cup and a quarter, lets you know if your power was out and the food is spoiled.
