@Ike Willis That is not a good sight to wake up to this morning! Gross! And I thought once we reached a certain age we didn't have to behave ourselves anymore.
You will be happy to hear that the nanny here is very religious. She came to take the youngest to preschool today, so only 2 are home. Right now she is talking to him about who's birthday Christmas is....Baby Jesus. I think she's baptist affiliated whatever that is...she says it's different from southern Baptist. She's a very nice lady and good with the kids and they like her a lot.
@Chrissy Cross I know you meant that as a good thing so I am happy to hear that your grandchild's caretaker is a woman of faith who is blessing your grandchild with her love and nurturing. I hate the word "religious" and it has nothing to do in my opinion with having a relationship and faith in God our Creator and Jesus Christ our Savior. But Chrissy I know that you meant no offense in using that word so I want you to know that I really appreciate your sharing the good news of your grandson's faith filled Nanny with me.
I meant it as a good thing, Babs. Religious is the word I use and to me it means a person who believes in God. I posted it because as I was reading your post, Liam was drawing another Christmas tree and was drawing the presents under it and she asked him if there was one for Baby Jesus. Want to add that I like her too, have known her for about 6 years. She also lost her husband but now she found someone on a Christian dating site. She's very family oriented and I don't think she even needs the money because she has real estate and horses and her husband had a body shop. She also leases out some land to farm for soy and something else. She loves kids and you can tell she loves these boys and they love her too. She does Christian study groups and was given permission to take Liam so she didn't have to quit those. In fact, last time I was here, I volunteered to go and watch the babies and toddlers while the adults Had their meeting. She lives in the rural section of town so it's quite a drive for her to even get here early. Now that I'm talking and thinking about her, she is probably the nicest person I know, at least the kindest and most down to earth.
I can "hear" and "see" the joy you are having with your Family right now Chrissy and it brings joy to my heart too.
Now @Ike Willis here is something for us women to wake up too that would put a smile on our faces instead of grossing us out! Good Morning ladies...it's going to be a great day!
No, he is not a bad looking man...but I saw him on the News the other day standing next to another man and Putin was so short compared to the man he was standing next too. I always liked "tall" men until I met my husband and realized that he may be short on the outside but he is very "tall" on the inside where it counts the most to me.
When I had my Home Daycare I always told the Mom's and Dad's who wanted me to keep their babies that I was a Christian and I lived my faith out at home as well as in public...and that if they had a problem with this...it would be better if they brought their babies to someone else. No one has a problem with this or took their babies somewhere else. It sounds like your grandchildren have a Nanny who knows who she is and what she believes and lives that out in her life. Your grandchildren are in the best of hands.
Why should he - stature doesn't make less of a man Would you like to be put down for a huge birthmark on yer face or something else that people ridicule ? Its daft - I have known fantastic men, so they're not tall or pretty boys, but men they are Better than some huge beer guzzling types I avoid Sorry - I have to say what I think
