We need snow and cold weather BADLY !!! We are in a thaw and have been in one for the past week or so.. Its NO good for our local village who relies on snow and cold weather to have tourists come by and spend money in our village.. The daytime temperature is up to 5c or 6c and at night it around the 0c mark.. NO GOOD !!! It is also raining which makes it worse.. We need at least 30 cms of snow with temps down to the -20c mark...

We have a Costco in Adelaide ..I've seen people sleeping in massage chairs ..I seen they are even going to have coffins this year some time
WHAT ???? oh my Cod!! whats next ? hanging gallows??? That place sure ain't what it use to be. The only thing I liked about their store was their Kosher Hot Dogs. they sure were some good!!
No Costco anywhere near where we live.. Unless I am mistaken, they sell everything in HUGE portions and for 2, sometimes that is too much.. I also think that to join it costs lots of $$$ which doesn't make the savings worth it unless you buy quantity from them.. Besides, the closest Costco is a 3 hour drive from our house.. Does that make any sense ?? Oh well,..... Life goes on !!!!!! PS.... I am NOT interested in purchasing a "Hanging Gallows"....
Steve ,because we go to the city at least every two weeks shopping it pays us to be a member which costs $60 a year ..an example is their petrol (gas as you call it ) is 20 cents a ltr cheaper than other petrol stations Costco stock and sell stock that's in multi packs ,but they also have single items ,to buy ...we buy what suits us ....their meat is really nice and tender ,you can buy a pack of steak with two slices or 10 slices or a whole rump or scotch fillet steak costing up to $200 I buy their beef mince ,that tastes like beef ,unlike other supermarket "beef mince" but that comes in a 2 kg pack which I share with my daughter
Kate.. I am not sure what they charge up here for membership.. Is It worth a 3 hour drive to go to Costco?? The amount of gas I use in a month is ridiculously low and it wouldn't pay me to take gas only for a saving.. I just wonder if the Costco sells gas at all where we would go..
We normally go to the city for any doctors appointments ...or social outings like dancing so we combine the shopping with something else .,we ver rarely go down just for shopping ..we don't have to go anywhere else we can do our shopping all at one place ,there is Coles ,Costco and Aldi all there together ..
we don't have a cosco anywhere near us and I guess I could google and find out. but im sure it would be a long haul for us to go.. we use to go to a Sam's Club store like Cosco in Maine and it was not far from us so we did go there . and at that time it cost 40 dollars for the year.. it was worth it tho..and that was at least 4 yrs ago now..
