When I sent him that card when he had his heart attack last year, I sent it to Muscatine. Iowa @Joe Riley.
RIP @Ike Willis I already hear the angels and God laughter's ringing out at your stories and I will miss hearing them here on earth from now on. Yet I am thankful that many of those stories are here on the Forum where we can read them again and smile at the cherished memory of you sharing them with us Ike. Thanks for your sharing and caring Ike...you will live in our hearts forever.
Ike's funeral will be on Wednesday. I sent flowers on behalf of the forum. After the fact, I noticed that the obituary asked that donations be made to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers. I never was good at following directions.
I was talking to a friend yesterday, and she had told me one day, when I was really down, that I just needed a home. I have never felt at home in this world, but I believe when I leave here, I'm going home. I think Ike might have been a fan of Jim Reeves, I don't know but maybe he was. I found this song in memory of Ike:
That's awesome @Ken Anderson, thanks so much for doing that. I think it was totally thoughtful and I know we all appreciate it, denise
@Ken Anderson we donate to the Salvation Army....I will be glad to put some extra in this month's donation in remembrance of Ike. And thank you for sending the flowers from all of us.

@Ken Anderson Allow me to add my thanks to the pile, for sending flowers on our behalf! It was very thoughtful. I too, will send a donation to the Salvation army.
You know I wish Ike could send us stories from heaven like he shared his earthly stories with us....I can only imagine how wonderful those heavenly stories would be!
Every time I come in here I tear up. Geez, you never know how much you care about some until they are gone. I am so happy to have known him, thank God for forums. I've met such great folks.
