Everyone Xx It was a cold night last night, even so ............. put me gel on Ina, feet 'started' to tingle ! Funny I thought, then - it stopped. Shortly after that, I put some on me back Went to bed and me feet usually start burning quickly, they tingled and I thought here we go But, it stopped and off to sleep I went ............. So, it worked last night and I'll continue with that routine from now on
Hopefully the new keyboard comes really, really fast........ We have ALL missed you, @Denise Happyfeet ! ! Try using the Kindle maybe ? They even make little keyboards that you can use with the Kindle.
It's a beautiful day over here in Texas and probably back home in Louisiana too. I'm babysitting today while my daughter and son-in-law are both working today. So far the "grandbabies" and I are doing just fine together. They both were sick last week when I got here but they are doing fine this week. Our grandson got his first tooth a few days ago and is working on "cutting" a few more before I go back home. And for the last couple of nights our "big girl" granddaughter has slept all by herself in her own room and in her big girl bed. She also refuses to let us help her get dressed now or put her shoes on her. All of a sudden it seems she has become a "big girl" overnight! I brought two packs of flower seeds to plant over here and tomorrow we will go shopping for Miracle Grow and some flower pots to plant those seeds in. It's so fasinating to watch little ones discover everything for the first time.
Everyone Xx Feeling droopy today, a bit like that hound dog Must try something new with this cushion Anyway, me treatment worked last night but as I wake with the burning, I doubt it will be as good in warmer weather Its cold at present. But, it is good for the back etc, so I will keep with it Keep smiling
Going to be a nice and warm day, but cold front moving in tonight. Forecast that, with wind-chill our daytime temp tomorrow will be some 30 degrees colder than today and yesterday. It will only last the one day, then back into the lower 70's for Friday and, what looks to be an absolutely beautiful weekend with temps in the mid to upper 70's. Hopefully, depend on any wildfire smoke and/or the wind, will get the boat out on the water on either Saturday or Sunday. Took off old steering wheel cover yesterday........quite the job. Put on new one, again.......quite the job. But got it done. Only thing is, some left shoulder nagging pain from doing it. Had left shoulder rotator cuff surgery in March 2015, and to this day, still get some nagging/achy pain in the shoulder. Ibuprofen and/or 10 mg Tramadol helps. Have a nice one!
I received a text yesterday (Tuesday) morning saying my original flight had been cancelled, so they rerouted me on three flights, via Copenhagen and Helsinki, so I eventually arrived at 8:00pm last night, all the flights were empty and left and arrived early so the day went smoothly but it was a very looong day. Slept well last night and have rested most of today apart from a trip to the corner shop a 100 yards down the road, to buy some food. It's 7pm here now so will probably relax some more, and watch a movie... I took a pic of the customary tram from the corner shop..
Most of central Maine is in a power outage right now, so we're in Lincoln, one of the few places near us with power, at a restaurant.
I hate being without the electric, not so bad if you have gas supply too All electric here although I prefer to gas So Terry - good to hear you have arrived and 'relaxing'
We have a new generator and my wife has been nagging me to get propane for it, so there is that problem.
Well that only goes to show you should have listened to Michelle about the propane @Ken Anderson. And now since you didn't listen to her concern (nagging as you men call it) about getting propane...you will have to live with "I told you we needed that propane!" for awhile too. Are you taking Michelle to lunch to say you are sorry for not "listening to her concern or are you out getting the propane too?
I'm getting ready to purchase two gasoline powered generators to provide enough power for the kitchen, (refrigerator and freezer, water well), and my bedroom, (a/c, TV, four power outlets for charging stations). Last hurricane we went through was Ike in '08. We were without power for three weeks. We had a gasoline powered felding/power generator at the time, but gas was at an all time high of almost $4 a gallon. The three weeks cost us over $1800. Now that did include the necessities for our home and the couple next door. They had an 85 year old mother with them. Come to think of it, she is still puttering around.
Good thing you didn't ask me to get the Propane - I'd have come back with a box of headache tablets Over here, I was told to take Propane for my headache - I says - that's a gas isn't it ?
@Patsy Faye you best rethink any possible friendship with that person! Sounds like they are trying to do away with you. They are planing to gas ya!
LOL yea - I felt a fool asking for a box of Propane but I have to say, they were bloomin' marvellous They don't exist now
