A very good morning to you all it's 9:00 am here and sunny, Lisa is working so I am home alone today an excuse to do nothing much, .... I will sort out some more photos of the recent trip. Have a great Tuesday... A few paintings of train journeys....
Oh - I feel so sorry for the lady in painting 2 I hope she's not married to that fella She's looking wistful, wishful even ......................... @Terry Page
Or if you are like me maybe you will be enjoying a mug of green tea this morning. Either way whatever morning drink you choose...I hope you do enjoy your morning beverage. I have really gotten used to my green tea instead of regular coffee now and a teaspoon of honey and a dash of flavored creamer in my tea and I don't even miss the coffee I thought I would never be able to give up. I also have been adding my teaspoon of coconut oil in my tea and the flavors blend beautifully. I've been seeing some flavored teas advertised in my magazines and I think on my next shopping trip I will pick up a box or two of those to try. I will also have to pick up some more coconut oil since I'm down to my last few teaspoons. I have found coconut oil to be of tremendous benefit to me personally. More energy, less brain fog, and very important is the effect on my GERD. I have not had to take any of my prescribed GERD meds for about 2 months now and have had no problem stopping these meds or with my GERD since doing so. I believe it may be a combination of the coconut oil and my yogurt/probiotic fresh fruit smoothies but I am so happy with the results of both of these changes I have made to my life and health. I am even losing some weight with this too although I really wasn't trying to do this. Going back home on the train today and then on Saturday my daughter and grandbabies will be coming back to Louisiana for a week while her husband takes a business trip to Colorado. So I will have all my daughters and grandkids in one City for the week and looking forward to this very much. We will probably have a seafood boil together if the prices are reasonable and the seafood is plenitful and of good size. A seafood boil is really a whole meal now because cajuns add everything to the pot...potatoes and corn, broccoli and carrots, mushrooms, even sausage besides crawfish, crabs, and shrimp. And lots of seasoning! Even though I'm full of allergy symtoms this morning...it's a great morning to go home. And I hope for each of you it's a great morning too! God bless and keep you all in His loving care, provide all you need for this day, and throw in a few extra blessings just because He loves you too.
Everyone Xx Won't be able to peddle today - last 3 days have been bad for me so a bit despondent ................... Hope the day is kind to you all
that's in a cool place called The Medicine Wheel, Wyoming Patsy! I sure love the artwork folks put up here. I'm fixing up my dining area in a Parisian Cafe Style, so I'm looking for at least 1 print of something to go with the other decor I have now. Here's one thing that is on the way now. I needed something to hide my mop & brooms as I don't have a cabinet tall enough, so decided on this:
FAB ! I'm sure it will look great, makes such a difference to have some art on the walls The internet is certainly worthwhile when looking for something, mind you, I've spent hours looking, not always a piece of cake - beats dragging yerself off to stores though
we have a Walmart, and that's it for any sort of department store types. But I'm not knockin it because I found a map!! They have posters @Patsy Faye and not this month, but next, I'm getting one with some pushpins, LOL!! Yes, I found the panel on Ebay, or was it Amazon, LOL! I'm looking for a 3 piece dinette next. Just such a small area but I do have one gal that likes to come over. Mostly though, I am doing this for me and the lighting I've added is doing lots for depressing, dark Winter
What's a 3 piece dinette Louise ? We bought a small table with 2 chairs, so cute, is that what you mean .................. @Denise Happyfeet
We started the day here on a sunny note, which deteriorated this afternoon into a series of snow blizzards... I took this photo of the rooftop opposite this morning, you can see four people on a so called rooftop excursions, which are run for tourists every season starting in March. They take groups of people sometimes as many as 20 clambering over the roofs of connected buildings in streets. Each year there are a couple of accidents resulting from falls, there have even been a couple of deaths, but I guess that adds to the thrill............not for me though... TripAdvisor review LINK Epic views, lovely attentive guide and an adrenaline rush to match. A great way to see the city. Instead of dry facts about palaces we learnt about what it's really like to live in the city whilst clambering over roof tiles (with the guide's help). This afternoon
