Good morning everyone, it's 9:30 am and sunny with a clear blue sky......... I have been lying in bed in a contemplative mood browsing images, poetry and other stuff on the internet............ Lisa is out paying some bills and doing a food shop for a Chilli I will make for dinner, later we will go out for a walk, and I will have a haircut before it gets too out of hand Have a great Wednesday....hope you are feeling better today @Patsy Faye
Fab pictures Terry ! I have used Arnica gel for years, mainly when I knock meself, happens quite often So I was thinking on the lovely Arnica and realised it not only stops the bruising but stops the 'pain' too !! Last night I covered me legs and feet in it, it dries quick enough and is very cooling I put the other gel on me back Well it took the pain down to a manageable level and the burning Will this be an answer - who knows .............. I'm also putting gloves on me pedals (giggle) too hard on me feet, I need something to cushion them Such fun in my house ..................... @Terry Page
Woke up in my own bed again this morning next to my Honey...it's good to be home again! My Honey told me he saw a few Hummingbirds flying around while I was in Texas so today I will fill their feeder and hang if on the porch for them. @Denise Happyfeet I saw in another post you would like some flower pictures...magnolias are one you mentioned. I'm not sure if they are in bloom yet but I'll be on the lookout and will be keeping my camera in our car in case I see any. Home Sweet Home! It's going to be a beautiful day!
I love "home" too Babs, especially my own bed I don't know if I will even want to camp again this year I love my memory-foam cover so much I can't wait to see some Spring pics of the South. If I moved again, it would be to the South for sure Although I so want to visit and explore the East Coast, mostly Maine and North Carolina. The Great Lake area would be awesome as well I've read a lot of book series by authors who write about those areas, so it makes me so want to go there Glad you are home safe and cozy, and maybe you can get some photos of your h-birds too. My sis has a feeder that goes out to in the Spring, and they practically swarm it. They are so fun to watch, especially when one tries to bomb the others to keep it all for themselves I guess. Hmm, sounds like humanoids, lol
Morning Terry, wonderful art as always Ditto for @Patsy Faye as well! I've been trying my hand at chili this Winter and think I've done "ok" but can't get a 2nd opinion. My neighbors say their gut can't handle beans or hot stuff, but I suspect it might be my "poison mushroom soup" jokes that might be detering them?? LOL You and Lisa have a wonderful day! Denise
This is a new one on me! Wow, never saw that in a travel-brochure Makes me think of the scene in Weekend at Bernie's where the guys try to catch a "tropical-like" break in the big city:
I wasn't very clear, doi'ng More coffee, lol I meant on you feeling better, hope hope?? So you get (can't t'yp well either this a.m.) pedal your buns today
Good morning and welcome to another Thursday when you arrive or in case hope you have left it I hope you enjoyed it It's a beautiful sunny morning here though -3c out, Lisa went to work at 8:00 am and it's 9:00 am now so I am getting up shortly and deciding what to do with the day......... I did start posting on Facebook yesterday, a first for me, because I never really understood it I will see how I get on, maybe even try twitter when I get to 80 , if I can find the account I set up a while back.... Have a wonderful day............
This is the chilli I cooked yesterday, it's a cross between a conventional chilli and and an Irish stew I made enough for three days so it will improve in flavour each day. I added chilli, cumin, paprika, ginger and garlic plus some ground coriander, it tasted great....... Have fun with your chilli making @Denise Happyfeet
