Good Morning peeps, I have jury-duty this a.m. so won't have much time to read or post. Have no idea what the case will be. I wondered about the different things that would call for a jury. I'm sure not up on that end of the law, but I hope it will be interesting if I am picked. Everyone have a great day, clear and cold here so far today denise
Wow, I bet the Winshield Replacement biz is booming today! Take care and don't go out without your helmet Babs!!
Beautiful paintings Terry. I can almost smell those sheets! I remember running around playing hide and seek behind those back in the day
I scored this at the thriftshop the other day, love some of Monet's. One man's garbage is my treasure, lol My shot was blurry but someone put a neat frame on it :
Good Morning, Everyone ! It is a wet and dreary day here in northern Alabama today. The top part of that rainstorm that is hitting down in Louisiana where @Babs Hunt lives is strung out all the way across Alabama and into Tennessee. We have had some thunder , but none of those hailstones or severe t-storms like they are having further south. Mostly just a lot of rain here . The whole front yard looks like a small pond, or at least a lot of puddles. We are just going to stay home and inside as much as possible, and there is nowhere we need to go today.
Our weather is nice at the moment but isn't going to last, rain in the future forecast which is rare in April in Fresno but it's been a rainy winter which is good.
There was a presumed terrorist explosion on the metro here, it's the line we regularly use and we could have easily been involved. Evidently 10 were killed and many injured.....all very sad for those involved.... It seemed to be timed to coincide with Putin's visit to his palace here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-39481770
Good morning one and all. The sun is out and shining once again this morning and although there was lots of bad weather in the early morning hours yesterday we missed the worst of it and were blessed we didn't get hit directly by any of those quarter size hailstones. I didn't watch the evening news to check on what kind of damage those hailstones did where they hit around us but I'm hoping there was nothing really bad to report. @Yvonne Smith y'all stay dry and maybe curl up in your favorite chairs and watch some good movies today until that weather passes. I don't mind the rain, but when the thunder is so loud it shakes our home and the lighting comes so frequent it seems it is right in the room sometimes with you...well I can do without those kinds of storms. Glad you and yours are safe @Terry Page. Whatever you're doing today may your day be peaceful and kind to you.
Since I hadn't listened to the News since yesterday morning I had no idea that the bad weather did bring some sad news near us. A tornado touched down in Breaux Bridge (our Crawfish Capital) which is about a half hour from where we live...and a mother and young daughter were killed when the tornado demolished their home. I always hate to hear this kind of News as I'm sure we all do.
Good morning from a bright but grey day here, I didn't sleep too well last night so a bit sluggish today, Lisa is working all day today so I am in charge of Miro, so I guess I won't get much of a doze Have a great day .....
