Morning Lara, one Coffee French Onion soup, coming up!

 

mmmmm…I have only had onion soup, that looked that good, once in my life and it was so long ago I don't know the year. The crusty bread, melted cheese, and they uniquely sprinkled thyme on top. I love thyme. I see coffee beans in the photo…I wonder if a little coffee was added to it for a nutty flavor with the onions. I know that's a secret when baking chocolate cake (to bring out the flavor of the chocolate) and it's a tenderizer for meat (like in chili). Anyway, It looks delish!

 

They added a cup and a half of brewed coffee. If you click on the link, Lara, you will find the recipe. At first, I thought they added the coffee beans....but NOT!

@Joe Riley, @Lara Moss, if we're not careful the Hi-goodbye cafe is going to need a gym next door. If we don't watch out, we'll be getting so wide, we'll need to go into the cafe door sideways.

So tomorrow is game day. Does anyone have any ideas of how we can play a virtual game?

Where has @Ken Anderson been lately? Maybe he could suggest how we might do such a thing.
