@Ike Willis, I'm with you on taking advantage of non painful days. When I get one, I plow through as much as I can. I think those days confuse my companion Izzy. (dog) He trails me like the little ankle biter that he is. But I do have to give credit to my Gazelle glider. Fifteen to twenty minutes a day keeps me limber enough to keep moving each day. On days that exercise does not help, I end up hugging my heating pad.
Ike, I have that same sleep pattern. I've always blamed it on the night shift I did but the more I read from others I think it's an age thing. I know it's not healthy because it causes us to lack that deep restorative REM sleep….but if we're not sleepy, we're not sleepy! I know, I can be so profound
I generally go to sleep by 10 pm., and up by 5 or 6 am., and that is with sleep meds. At least the doctor has quit hollering about counciling. @Ike Willis, I know that I'm depressed, but why do you seem depressed? Sometimes, (I'm finding out), being isolated can cause us to be sad about the world.
The daily news usually depresses me. I skip a lot of it but my need to know won't let me just ignore what's going on. I now just watch some local news. I look for humor in events. It's usually there, somewhere.
Greetings from the east shores of Iowaland, on this chilly 37 degree Saturday morning. My Big Ben says it's 7:45am already. Had a hard time waking up. Just kept dozing off again. Lots of aches this am but, my pills seem to have worked. I'm ready to go dancin'. You all behave today, or be careful.
Usta know a gal who would play the song below over and over while she did her household chores, dancing the whole time. I liked watching that, and it kept her slim and trim. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...&mid=88016A6537E77DC3F33388016A6537E77DC3F333
Whee, oh that was fun and it worked! I emptied the dishwasher and swept the kitchen floor while I listened to it. Who can keep still listening to that!
Hi everyone, well, I missed it again! Too late to say G_ _ _ M_ _ _ _ _ _! It's 12:30, here...sunny & cool. Spent the morning wrestling with a motion sensor light....light duty! Hope you are working off a short list!
Good mornin' all. It's 2:40am on a clear and balmy Sunday here in beautiful but quiet downtown river city. The bars closed at 2am and the drunks are all home asleep, and it's http://www.bing.com/search?q=the still of the night&pc=cosp&ptag=AE39C3D3907&form=CONMHP&conlogo=CT3210127. Have a great Sunday you all.
Good Sunday morning to all! A cool 39 degrees. here in Western PA! Getting ready to swing by the "High-GoodBye" for a cup of "Holy Grounds" coffee! Hope you have a grand day!
Mornin' to you all. It's 66 degrees under clear skies at the 1:30am mark on my ol' Big Ben. Supposed to be a clear day and hit the mid 70's later. Might make a leisurely trip to the store later, now that I whacked off my beard last evening. Didn't shave it all off, just shortened it down to about 1/4 inch. Now maybe the little snots will quit running after me waving their Christmas lists in their grubby little hands. Meanwhile, here's a little Monday music to start your week. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...&mid=44EC97D8BFAABCA9927544EC97D8BFAABCA99275
(You're a nut Ike haha) Good morning… One pic is a bit questionable (mythological Pan?) but the rest makes sense.
