Haha, go to zillow.com and type in your address. It will give you your home's stats as well as what they think your property is worth as well as all your neighbors. It also posts aerial pics of you front and back yard…kinda' creepy. Nothing is secretive anymore. And that's no lol.
@Lara Moss, Since I'm selling my log cabin, I thought I'd see what zillow had to say. To my surprise, I saw my cabin with 19 pictures, and I saw the house I sold in the summer. But, there were several facts that were wrong, like acerage, sq. ft., number of bedrooms, ect.
I know @Ina I. Wonder . They have wrong things about my house too and lots of people look when they're buying a house. There may be a way to correct that information. I think you can click on something on the site to have them fix it because it's a problem for sellers. They say my house was last sold in 2006 but I bought my house in 2000 and have never moved. They say it was purchased at half of what I purchased it for too. But everything else was correct. I think most of their info is correct.
When I looked, I saw an "Edit" button, where you can go in and add details and corrections. I did not use it.
I'll ask my realtor. Something tells me that not just anyone can do the editing. Can you imagagine what kind of havic a person could cause?
Good point @Ina I. Wonder !! Hey,don't forget game day tomorrow (every thursday) over at the HiGoodbye Coffee Cafe! We'll be playing jumble (words where the letters are scrambled in case you are a new member reading this).
Another "Game Day" reminder....we start EARLY...for a full day of play! Cards, dominoes, Chess, Checkers and of course...Jumble! It could be a joke, riddle song, poem, whatever....just so it relates to Game Day! Thanks!
@Ina I. Wonder , I just contacted Zillow because their "edit property info" wasn't allowing me to delete something that "was public record". Since it wasn't public record and was totally false info, I emailed them and asked them to delete it. Much to my surprise they deleted it instantly and emailed me to say it was done. They do ask that you sign up and they do ask a security question. Here's the link I used customer service E-mail or you can use this (same thing) www.zillow.com/myzillow/EmailCustomerService.htm
Thanks @ Lara Moss, I'll get with my realtor, and get him to straighten things out. He gets thousands to do his job, but at least I don't have to worry about the legal issues. One of the reasons I'm leaving this area is you can't turn around without running into a legal issue. @Joe Riley, funny man you are. I didn't even notice the misspelling. But we do say havic instead of havoc down here in Texas. I forget sometimes and spell phonetically. But, it's good for a giggle.
