My '60s one was always high on something or other, but a lot of fun and I suspect I will come across it in some dusty corner here one day
Good morning everyone...today's the BIG day...graduation. Also my late husband's birthday. I'll take pics, my daughter has the house decorated to the hilt and the cake is awesome looking...don't know know how it tastes but it looks beautiful. She had it made.
Just want to shout out on this glorious day ...how much all of you just make my day ...everyday with your posts and pictures and words of humor and wisdom . Hope you all have a great one
I am so glad that you made the trip just fine, @Chrissy Cross , and i hope that your back continues to cooperate with you while you are there so that you can enjoy the graduation and the celebration. Next week, Robin and I will be flying out to Idaho for my grandson's graduation and so we can visit with our family out West. Today, I went to Walgreens and got a pair of those compression socks to wear for the plane trip, and I am testing them out beforehand to see how well they work. They are tight to put on; but they do feel good on my legs now that I have them on. After having that pulmonary embolism in 2015, I want to take all precautions not to get another blood clot in my legs that can move up to my lungs. It is a nice day here, although still chilly, and I am waiting for it to warm up a bit before I go outside and work in the yard.
Don't we wish all parents celebrated their kid high school and/or college graduation like this. @Chrissy Cross, your daughter done a great job!! I never got my high school graduation celebrated. The second day after graduation, I moved out of the house into the Ft. Wayne YMCA Hotel. Was working, but also waiting for the Navy to call me up,
