Just put the "@" symbol and then start typing the person's name. It should show up in a little box and then you select the name (if more than one name comes up), and once you post your reply, it will show up as a tagged post. For example, @Kitty Carmel , should tag you in this post.
@Yvonne Smith Oh thank you and Patsy Faye! I kept looking for a button to click on or something. Now I think I got it.
Well I didn't know either. Kept looking for buttons or something, then thought one must belong to some exclusive club or something. Then I wondered what's the purpose of tagging someone? Why tag them? So much I don't know but then hard to know everything.
@Bill Boggs, Not everyone reads everything in the forum. I don't, and I'm in charge of it. When you tag someone, they are alerted to the post when they next log in.
This forum operates more efficiently than my car forum; here the tag almost always executes, and quickly. There, sometimes even after typing the entire username, it appears to fail to execute. Still, it shows up as it is supposed to. (What utter rubbish I post, sometimes!) Frank
@Bill Boggs , when I first noticed the little red alerts that pop up by the little flag in the upper right hand corner, and I would open one that said you've been tagged, I had no clue either. All I could think of was "tag, your it", but I figured it was game that only techies knew how to play. We all know what a tech zombie I am.
