Hi everyone it's me again, popping in at the end of another busy day being a tourist, ... We spent the whole morning in a 15th century convent which was fascinating, it has over 100 rooms and a network of streets, I will post photos later. This afternoon we did more shopping and had lunch on a rooftop restaurant. This evening we wandered around the old town and had some waffles and a drink in a lovely bar/cafe.... a few pics below... A very good Monday morning to you all, we are getting ready to go to visit a few more sites on our last day here in Arequipa, we fly from here at 10pm tonight to Lima, it's only a 1 hour flight, then we are two nights in Lima before flying home to London on Wednesday evening.... It seems so long ago since we arrived here, I have lost all track of time, but no doubt will adjust very quickly once back home
Good morning to you all at 8:30 am, we had a lovely last day in Arequipa, but unfortunately all flights to Lima yesterday were delayed, so we didn't arrive here until 1 am The apartment is wonderful, it's on the 20th floor in a new block in the centre of Lima, it has two en-suite bedrooms, with erotic paintings on all the walls, there's a living room, and a laundry room plus a fully fitted kitchen, it's a shame we are only here two nights. I hope you all have a good Tuesday...... will catch up soon......

A very good morning to you all, it's 7:00am, and I have put some churros we bought from a street vendor in the oven for breakfast, ...............it's sadly our last day in Peru, we don't fly out till 10pm though so we have a whole day here. We will catch a cab to Miraflores the seaside area in Lima, it's only 15 minutes away, so we can spend the day relaxing.... The Churros Have a great Wednesday.......
Churros are very popular in California but I don't know if they're the same as the ones in Peru. Ive only had one or two because they're kinda high calorie and carb.
