For the cheapest unleaded it's £1.14 per litre here which equates to £5.70 per gallon (which is what I put in my ford fusion)...that converts to $7.33 US dollars super unleaded which my o/h puts in his high end car, is around £.6.50 per gallon which is $8.36 US Petrol/gasoline, is extremely expensive here
As of this morning depending on whether you are on the Northside of our City or the Southside it will cost you $1.99 to $2.01 a gallon for regular.
I'm seriously going to move to the USA...I could drive all day and not notice a hole in my pocket given how cheap your fuel is...
There's always a trade off though in some way. I think Canada is also very high but that's how they pay for some of their healthcare...I think. I'm not sure about this though.
oooh if only our fuel duty tax went to pay for our NHS..none of us would mind so much unfortunately it doesn't... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukn...68970/British-fuel-tax-highest-in-Europe.html
That sucks then! I looked up why gas is higher in CA. http://money.cnn.com/2016/02/09/news/economy/california-gas-prices/index.html
A US gallon is smaller than an imperial gallon though, so that makes it £4.30 or $5.54 a US gallon, still a lot more expensive though..
Going to my daughter's house uses up most of the gas I buy....but I still can do the roundtrip on a full tank of gas. So about 300 miles. Of course my sweet daughter always fills up for me.
OMG...none of you would be able to afford to run a car here... I'm so jealous, if our fuel was as cheap as the USA I'd be out every day on driving holidays lol Actually in retrospect, it's probably a good thing it's not as cheap as yours because we're a small Island with over 60 million cars on our very overcrowded roads already...so if we had much cheaper fuel, the motorways would be more of a car park than they already are..
