Hello from a sunny Sunday here in Worcester I woke at 5am and dozed until 7 but still not fully awake, I need to do a bit of tidying up and some more gardening ....at least that is the plan....have a great day everyone...
A very good morning to you all on a damp Monday here, I am going with my daughters to Manchester a bit later to visit my brother-in law John whose wife Jo died of cancer last year. He is managing well on his own but of course still misses her a lot, they were a couple that did everything together... I didn't realise it was Senior's Day today @Maryt Hope we don't celebrate our seniors in the UK as far as I know, anyway I wish you all a Happy Seniors Day ...... ...maybe we should celebrate ourselves every day
Have a good visit with John @Terry Page , I can hardly believe it's been a year since Jo died... how really thoughtful of you to go and spend the first anniversary of Jo's death with your BIL..., I hope you have a lovely visit After a gloriously hot and sunny day yesterday we have heavy rain today...our weather is so unpredictable beyond a few days..tomorrow and wednesday is supposed to bring back hot and sunny weather, but I notice it's already starting to feel a little chilly at night now... @Babs Hunt , I'm happy to hear you've had some relief from your aches and pains..it makes such a difference to your mood doesn't it when the pain eases for a time.. ? I was out all day yesterday..went to the garden centre for a sack of wild bird seed and a few other things, then out to a country pub for lunch in the sun but the food was awful, cheap ingredients and badly cooked, so I didn't eat it... ..then a little bit of shopping on the way home and I bought a Red day dress with a Japanese tropical pattern all over it which is pretty and I'm wearing it today... Hope everyone has a good start to the week...I'm not going to be doing much today...it's almost 2 months since I retired and I'm still getting used to not having to rush around doing housework to fit in with my working hours... *bliss*
Good Morning and Happy Solar Eclipse Day! I'm going to babysit my youngest grandkids again while my daughter goes gets her hair done and I will get there before the Eclipse starts and not come home until it is over. I do not have any solar glasses and even if I did with developing cataracts I just do not want to take any chances on eye damage. So I will just watch the Eclipse on TV. If you are one who does have solar glasses and will be watching it...enjoy!
Awe, made it to another Monday...woo hoo ! @Patsy Faye , today hopefully we find out where we stand with our case! Hot and more hot for today.
Thanks @Holly Saunders in fact it's a year last April, it's hard to believe how time has flown.... Good morning all, it's grey here but dry, I woke up at 6am and have been dozing on and off since, it's now 9am and my second coffee has woke me up more. I am listening to some Sting music on headphones, which is affecting my mind/emotions though not sure in what way, maybe contemplation ........ time to get up I guess I got back with the girls from visiting John around midnight last night, the drive to Manchester took over 3 hours, but returning less than 2 because of the quieter traffic conditions... John is going to stay with his youngest son David who lives in Tasmania, for 8 months from this October... he has offered his house for us to stay in if we want to spend some time in the area, it's in a small Cheshire village just south of Manchester, I know the girls will go there because Manchester is their favourite town. I have no plans for today....enjoy yours whatever you are doing....
Good morning! This morning I have my consultation about the X-rays I had a couple weeks ago. I think it's just a waste of time since my MRI of the same areas is on Friday...but these are the hoops you gotta jump through on Medicare I guess. I'm hoping if they saw something horrible they would have called me. Have a great day everyone.
Originally, if they had done the MRI on the first schedule, then your doctor would have that result back as well, and could give you a much better assessment of what is wrong that is causing you all of the shoulder pain. I think that he may want to schedule another consultation once he gets that report back; but maybe he can tell enough just from the x-rays to see what the problem is, and then you might not even need the MRI. In any case, he can probably give you a good idea what they can do to help heal it and you will at least know what you are dealing with. Prayers for your doctor appointment , Chrissy ! Chipper woke me up early, and I was even up ahead of Bobby today, although he is now up and making fresh coffee. I used my little filter cone and made myself a cup of flavored coffee and that is what I am drinking now.
