I thought I would share some of Louisiana with y'all this morning. Besides plenty of good cajun food we also have some beautiful places to visit too.
I am off to a - not so good start today. Have literally been up most of the night ! I have no problem sleeping, but staying asleep is something else here lately. This started about a month ago. I blame it on the up coming time change- seems to affect everything else. Anywho, hope you all have a good Tuesday ! I love the time change and can't wait. I'm probably in the minority just like I am with everything else like Christmas etc, lol.
Good morning from a sunny start to Wednesday I was late going to sleep last night, I think I Od'd on the magnesium I am in bed on my third coffee so should be good to go sometime soon, it's 8:30 am at the moment...............no real plans for today will wait and see what turns up..... All Russian art today, Google still thinks I am in St.Petersburg so brings up connected sites
Morning all..... It's 9.30am on the rural edge of London, on a sunny if a little chilly start to the day... Autumn has really begun to set in now....and I've taken these pictures from all close to my house either this year or the same time last year... Have a good Wednesday everyone...
Burrr...it's chilly over here this morning. Last night the Weather man said we should be at about 45 degrees when we woke up...and I think he's probably right. It will warm up to the 70's as the day progresses and be another beautiful day just like yesterday. Had such a sweet visit from my daughter and our youngest grandkids yesterday afternoon. She came to thank us for helping with the grandkids this past Friday when she was out of town and also to pick up her stuffed with corn bread dressing turkey roll that the store my husband works at sells. It was on sale and my husband also gets a 10% discount on everything. The stuffed turkey rolls are favorites of my daughters and me so when they go on sale we use get one of two stuffed the way we like for the freezer. The store will stuff them with cornbread dresssing, onion, garlic, and bell pepper, and I think a sausage mix too. They are delicious and so easy to cook...just set the oven temp and timer, pop them in, and when the timer goes off take them out and let them set for a few minutes before carving. Stay well everyone. There is a horrible virus going around over here. It makes you so sick that you throw up and have the runs. I was horrified this past weekend because I had cooked a gumbo for my son-in-law and the children while my daughter was out of town and his dad joined them for the weeked and ate some of my gumbo too. Then one of my older grandsons came over on Saturday to watch the football games with them and he ate some of my gumbo too. My son-in-law, his dad, and my grandson all came down with that virus...and I thought my gumbo had given them food poisioning. But the "babies" ate some too and my husband and I ate some for two days straight and none of us got sick. My middle daughter took our older grandson to the Doctor's and the Doctor told her there was nothing wrong with my gumbo, that there is just a terrible virus that has been going around for about 3 weeks now here in our City. And to prove it wasn't my gumbo (just kidding) my middle daughter's other two children came down with that virus yesterday too. I am praying no one else gets it because it is a really bad one that causes dehydration because everything comes out so fast and you can't keep anything down. Sorry to be so gross this early in the morning but I'm wondering if this virus is going around in other places too. Have a pleasant day and be blessed with health and wellness today. My arthritis is letting up some and my back does not have as much pain and stiffness this morning and that is something to be thankful for definitely.
Good morning everyone! High of 89 today, ugh. But I'm very happy that my insurance approved my physical therapy and I have an appt at 10:00 am today. The more my left shoulder/arm hurts....the less I use it and then it hurts even more. Think they have to stretch those tendons or muscles, hope it's not too painful! Have a great day!
Yep, a tad chilly here this am. Suppose to get even cooler come the weekend. We are suppose to attend the wedding of my niece this weekend, outdoor affair. Yikes it will be chilly. Be bringing in my plants before we leave, as afraid it will be too cool for them. LOLO , i hope it is a good day.. mine so far started out a little freaky.
