Good Morning. Today I am sharing Vermillionville with y'all. It is a replica of an old Acadiana Village that was built in the park close to the Home I grew up in. They have employees dressed as in the days when this village was a real part of Louisiana life and they teach you how to do alot of the things that were done back then too. It's a beautiful sight to see anytime but especially beautiful during Christmas when it is all lit up. This is in my Home City and it shows a bit of our culture.
Well I'm done with my therapy today and I hurt!!! They put me through the same exercise as last time but this time they added a very deep tissue massage...OUCH. Then they attached some electrodes to my shoulder ..front and back and turned on a machine and put an ice pack over that. Did that for 10 minutes, that didn't hurt but my massage sure did. Ive been home for more than an hour and I'm still hurting...think I'll take some Advil.
I was wondering when it was going to hurt. Did the PT leave you with any instructions as what to do if it did? Just remember...you can get through this and will have more use of that shoulder, etc. as you work through the PT.
No, they didn't tell me anything. I just took some Advil, will see if that helps. I may do ice later if it doesn't.
Hello from a grey morning in Worcester, yesterday was a long day and I finally got home about 6pm from my annual trip to London to get my fingerprints taken for my Russian visa, I had some dinner and went to bed and immediately fell asleep The appointment took only 10 minutes though it involved a 5 hour drive and two hours on the trains plus a 40 minute walk I am relieved it's done for another year..... Hopefully I will get a visa but who knows with the state of our relations with Russia these days I have no real plans for today except to go food shopping and general tidying up as usual................ enjoy your Saturday.. As you can see I have a lot of tidying up to do......
Morning All - lower 10C and a bright Wight this morning. Off to our cottage to have a tidy of the garden. Monthly fish and chips for lunch in the conservatory and play laptops. Have a good day !

Good Morning Peoples My kitchen clocks are still saying one later than it really is..(10am). when in fact it's really 9am now due to the clocks going back an hour .... all the rest of the clocks in the house automatically change... It's completely overcast and the roads are all damp where there's been a Fog overnight....but I'm hoping the sun will come out today... Autumn is really here now...and it won't be long before all the leaves are off the trees... and all the colour gone... but for now we make the most of all the photos I can take...while it's pretty... Have a good day everybody and may your pains be little ones...
Morning All -14C and a mix of bright sun and short sharp showers Ryde beach here on the Wight, after the holiday makers have all gone home......
Yesterday it was 82 and todays high will be 63. We are both in shorts right now, but if we go outside, we have to change into jeans or jogger pants. Tonight/tomorrow morning low will be 40. Wife will probably wear her winter coat to work. Wearing a winter coat to work in Florida, who would ever think it could get that cold in Florida?? Today will be somewhat boring, since it's too cold outside to do anything "fun".
Good morning it's 7 am (formerly 8am) on a sunny cold morning, just a couple of degrees above freezing. After doing some housework I will go for walk into Worcester and do some shopping, I need to buy a 2018 pocket diary for Lisa, she is about the only person I know who still uses a conventional diary. I have never been a diary person really, I would always lose it when I needed it Have a great Monday... Here are a few inked watercolours...
