Finally...I've got my bag! I'll be tasting my first cup tomorrow morning with my White Chocolate Raspberry creamer.
WHY on earth would you wait until tomorrow ? ? Make a cup of that RIGHT NOW ! ! Oh, I am wanting to try that and wish our store here would carry it, too. Maybe the CC salesman will leave some at our Krogers or even at Walmart.
I only like to drink a cup of coffee early in the morning @Yvonne Smith. And I won't be trying it this morning because I have to go over to my middle daughters' home early this morning to get my grandkids off to school for her while she attends a Nursing Conference in another City. So it will be tomorrow morning before I get to taste my Christmas Coffee. Since you are sending me those tubers I would be happy to mail you some of my coffee in a seal tight ziplock bag if you will send me your address by private conversation.
I hope you can find a bag too. You can go to the Community Coffee website and order yourself one. My husband did talk to the Community Coffee Salesman and he said that the Company was "kicking itself" because they only made so much of this Holiday coffee and everyone is complaining they can't find it. Maybe they will make some more since so many people are letting them know they want some. I will be out and about this morning and if I find some more bags of the Christmas coffee I will buy some and mail one to you @Bill Boggs and @Yvonne Smith if y"all send me your address in a private conversation.
I just picked up two more bags of the Christmas coffee from where my husband works. So @Yvonne Smith and @Bill Boggs...what address would y'all like me to mail it to?
I would really love to mail you a bag Bill...but if you don't feel you want to share your address so I can do that...I understand.
I decided if the Christmas coffee does not have a strong enough flavor of the dark chocolate and peppermint that I will just melt some of my Ghirardelli Chocolate Peppermint Barks squares in my cup until the flavor is just how I like it.
@Babs Hunt I do not mind giving you my address. I would do so with no hesitation if I had reason. I believe you to be one the most honest, caring people I know on or off the internet. Tell You what. Share your address with me and I'll re-imburse you for a package of the coffee and other expense and you drop it off at another address in your home town. I have a friend living there who started me on Community Coffee.
I'm so indecisive I can't decide what kind of grinder to get. They had several at Target, one a manual. I think I'll just get a bag of the coffee I want at the health food store and grind it in their store grinder for now. Won't be fresh ground but I'll keep looking for a grinder.
If you have a blender, you can also grind your coffee in that, @Kitty Carmel . I have one of those small blender cups and I use that when I buy whole bean coffee. We actually do have a little electric coffee grinder, but Bobby uses that for his coffee, and I love the flavored coffee, so I know it is not what he wants his coffee grinder to smell like, and the little blender works great for me.
Hello guys! Let me tell you about the coffee grown here in the Philippines. Most local coffee comes from the place here in the Philippines called Batangas and we often called it 'Kapeng Barako' translated as 'wild boar coffee.' But actually they really didn't come from a wild boar nor does the coffee bean look like a wild boar. It was during the Spanish era here in the Philippines when the Spaniards branded them as 'varacco' or wild boar because of its distinct taste and had that strong 'kick' taste which probably was the reason why it was called varacco. Kapeng Barako is actually much better tasting than the other commercial types of coffee such as arabica, robusta and excelsa. But its use was more of being a drip coffee in making espresso. If you visit Manila or the Philippines, try to drink a cup and know the difference. I'm sure you will like an espresso of Kapeng Barako.
