This morning I brewed some of my Christmas Coffee. Since I like my coffee flavored and with flavored creamer too I knew I could not be a good judge of whether it really tastes like dark chocolate and peppermint unless I tasted it without the flavored creamer. So I stirred my sweetener in and then took a sip. Right away I could taste the mintiness, but I'm not sure I really tasted the chocolate flavor...so I did break off a piece of my chocolate peppermint bark and let it melt in my cup before added vanilla caramel creamer to it. And it tasted just fine then.

I'm not a coffee "expert" like many of you are. I only drink one cup a day which I do really enjoy but l love to mix flavors and flavored creamers in my cup of coffee so I'm really not a good judge of if a coffee is great just by itself.

I am sending @Yvonne Smith a bag and look forward to reading her take on this Christmas coffee. And for a man's view point, maybe @Bobby Cole will drink some too and let us know what he thinks.

@Bill Boggs I appreciate your compliment on my honesty. :) I will have to decline your suggestion as I find it just getting a little to complicated just to share some Christmas coffee. :)

Babs, have you considered adding an other pinch or two of coffee, would that help or not. Probably not.
Understand. Couldn't find his address anyway.

The strength of the coffee was just fine @Bill Boggs and when my husband drank some he could clearly taste both the chocolate and the mint. Since he only drinks his coffee with one teaspoon of sugar in it and no creamer at all...his taste buds are probably better at tasting the distinct flavors than mine are. I always like to drink flavored coffee and flavored creamer so my taste buds are more used to this. My husband also drinks alot of coffee and I only have one cup a day.

I made a regular pot of coffee in the morning for my husband and then after I dropped him off at work I washed out the coffee pot and made some of the Christmas coffee. After I picked him up from work he headed straight for the coffee pot not knowing I had made some of the Christmas coffee. So I didn't say anything while he fixed his mug of coffee and warmed it up in the microwave. After he drank some he said: "Honey the coffee tastes really good!" and I told him it was the Christmas one. He said: "I know I can taste the chocolate and the mint...and it tastes really good." :)

This morning I made just the Christmas coffee and added some White Chocolate Raspberry creamer to my cup...and it was delicious! :)

I really like to try each new flavor the Community Coffee makes so I am glad I was able to find some of their Christmas coffee. I hope you will find a bag too Bill.

My Father: "If you have to put cream and sugar in it, you're not old enough to drink coffee."

My Mom: "Please pass the cream. And the sugar."

My Cajun Mom and Dad have been giving my siblings and me "coffee milk" since we were old enough to walk and talk, :)

I haven't read all the replies but why can't you just order the coffee on Amazon? I just looked and they have it.

They had it on the Community Coffee website too...but now they just have it in the Kcups. If that hasn't sold out since I read this yesterday.

I have been reading that percolated coffee is supposed to be the most flavorful, and @Ken Anderson said that is how he likes his the best (and we all know that he is our resident “coffee snob”) , so if Ken says perked is best, then It obviously must be.
I still had a little bit of Amazon gift card left, so I have been browsing for a percolator coffee pot, and I found one of the refurbished ones half-way cheap, and I ordered it, so I am looking forward to testing that out (with some of the Christmas coffee that @Babs Hunt is sending me) as soon as it arrives.
I decided to order an electric percolator because I well remember back when I had the stovetop ones, and I would put them on, and then forget to get back into the kitchen and turn them down, so they would be furiously perking on the stove by the time I got there.
With the electric one, I should not have to worry about it doing that. Here is some morning music to get me in the mood for my percolated coffee.....

Be curious what you think after you've downed a few cups. Been thinking about how my coffee is made with expensive maker versus how I think it should be made. Speculation on my part but curious.

Guess what I am having for my morning coffee ! !
The package of Chocolate Peppermint Christmas Coffee arrived just a few minutes ago.and I am sending a BIG THANK YOU to @Babs Hunt for gifting me with it.
Now is the (huge) decision......... do I wait until morning, or try a cup right now ?
I would probably make a cup right away, but I am already drinking a mug of vanilla eggnog coffee, and I don’t want two mugs (it is a 20 oz thermal mug); so I guess it will have to wait until morning.......sigh.
Thursday, my percolator arrives, so by Friday, I will be testing the Christmas coffee in the percolator.
I might not be a “coffee snob”; but I certainly enjoy my coffee, and especially testing out new coffees and ways of making coffee. We have quite the collection of coffee-making equipment.
Besides the Mr. Coffee that Bobby uses to make his morning pots of coffee, and the K-cup machine, we still have the brewing station that keeps the coffee inside so you don’t need a coffee pot.
Then I have a little drip style pot that I use to make tea, and one of those little pour-over Melita style filters, which is what I was using before we got the K-cup coffeemaker.
And Bobby has a coffee press, which he never uses, that my son Michael used every day and loved when he was out here to visit us several years ago.
We should have sent it home with him, I think.

The percolator arrived Wednesday afternoon, and I have been having my morning coffee made in that for the last two days. It is SO rich and delicious, and that percolator is definitely SPEEDY ! ! I expected it to take 10-15 minutes to make a pot of coffee, but it was nowhere near that long, so it must heat up really fast, because that percolator really goes to town with the perking.
Amazon had some blueberry cobbler coffee on sale as an add-on; so I also got a package of that along with the percolator, and when I perked that, the house smelled like blueberry pie.
The chocolate peppermint is totally awesome, and it smells and tastes like a rich chocolate with just a hint of the mint, kind of reminds me of one of those mints that they sometimes give you at restaurants or hotels.
I had some left over today, so I added some milk and ice cubes, and it is like a cold mocha latte.
