    I disagree... I didn't care for any of the other candidates and I certainly didn't care for Hillary so I guess I voted Trump by default.

    There really is no right or wrong...

    The contradictions are priceless. On the one hand, we are supposed to believe that Trump didn't really want to win the election, but was interested only in building his brand. On the other, we're supposed to believe that he colluded with the Russians in order to win. Well, it can't be both.

    People look at Trump, watch him, listen to him and draw different conclusions. We hope he's reelected or defeated. We're all sold on what we believe. That's what makes horse races and elections. When he was elected I thought he could go either way; he was once a democrat after all. I was wrong. I don't see much difference in personality between Trump and the N. Korean leader. Trumpis merely handicapped a little by our laws or we might think them twins. Of course the haircut is different. Three more years and we get another opportunity to escape this wannabe dictator.

    He's no worse or better than any other president in my opinion. I think the media has pushed him to be like he is now.

    I don't remember him being hated when he was on The Apprentice...he is the same man now as he was then.

    Yes, he says some stupid things but how about the people that comment on his hair and the size of his hands etc....class acts...NOT.

    The author of the explosive new book about Donald Trump's presidency acknowledged in an author's note that he wasn't certain all of its content was true. Michael Wolff, the author of "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," included a note at the start that casts significant doubt on the reliability of the specifics contained in the rest of its pages.
    Several of his sources, he says, were definitely lying to him, while some offered accounts that flatly contradicted those of others.
    But some were nonetheless included in the vivid account of the West Wing's workings, in a process Wolff describes as "allowing the reader to judge" whether the sources' claims are true.

    I don't like Trump but I can think of too many other books I'd prefer to read than this. Will not be buying or reading.

    Guess you're right, Kitty. After Shirley's post, I don't want to.

    I apologize for my comments on this subject. I know this is a conservative forum.

    There's no need to apologize. This is a senior forum, not a conservative forum. You are perfectly free to haver whatever opinion you wish, and to express it here. I may disagree with you if it's a subject that I feel like discussing, but your opinion is as welcome as anyone else's.

    @Bill Boggs
    True, that.....but such a change from the run-of-the-mill politicians all grovelling to sustain their mostly useless presence in the arena.....one cannot help but take extreme notice.

    Perhaps it will all lead towards the better.......

    I'm pretty sure that's what all those that voted for him wanted.

    I would not buy tbe book.I do belive once Trumps reign is over we will see, hear and read many things about him and the presidency that are disturbing and that some of the book at least was truthful.
    Pay attention to the people in the back ground of news conferences or an anyone shown with POTUS....their facial expressions, their body movements tell most of what is really going on.
