There's a video attached to this story of a mother attacking her toddler... I'm going to show it here along with the media story... beware you may not want to watch it.. but I feel this story has to be shown...it's gone viral on facebook I wasn't expecting this footage when I opened the story in the papers, and I was actually screaming out loud, I thought I was going to pass out.. ..I wanted to find this woman and put a gun to her head. Thank god, the authorities discovered who she was , and have taken the children into care ..it's not known if the mother has been arrested, but if she hasn't I hope that those who know her, take good care of her..if you know what I mean.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5246079/Mother-lifts-child-hair-kicks-video.html
OMG! I quit watching after she yanked her up by her hair....I could cry...poor child. I was also going to say the same thing @Ken Anderson said.
yes I agree Ken, but I wondered if they needed to keep filming to get evidence..perhaps it was another child in the house , who was also afraid...
I'm not going to ruin what has been a pleasant day by watching that video @Holly Saunders. But I do want to say that I am glad to hear the one doing the abusing has been taken away and I also agree with Ken and Chrissy that the one filming that abuse should be punished too.
I didn't consider this...but you may be right Holly and since they want "proof" for everything now days this just might be what the person was getting with their filming.
Even aside from what the mother is doing to the child, I don't think a bed on the floor next to the stove would pass a visit from social workers here in the states but we've had some horror stories where social services dropped the ball regarding the welfare of children. It also looks like the wall has been broken by someone but who am I to judge how people live. Maybe they only have the one room but still no reason to attack a child with such rage.
No it wouldn't pass a visit from social workers here either...although there has been horror story exceptions where Social workers have visited a home where a child should have been removed and ultimately the child died at the hands of a parent due to the lack of proper investigation from the Social services..
WOW, that was really bad! It made me get "teary eyed". How could a mother do that to their child, but unfortunately it's done more than most people think. The mother and the person filming should be held responsible. Terrible, just plain terrible. For the ladies on this forum who are mothers and grandmothers, just BEWARE of how ugly this is.
So far all who have posted on this forum are parents Cody... as you say this is really UGLY... but it's not only parents ( female or otherwise) who should beware... everyone who calls themselves a decent human being I would expect to react with horror and shock to this ...as we all have so far.. Sorry it made you tear up, but I understand because it's just so shocking..
Unfortunately Babs there's no evidence that the mother has been arrested... but the children have been taken into care...
Hopefully the mom will have to get some help and those kids should not be returned to her anytime soon.
