Good morning everybody, it's a cold 3c (37f) and snowing though not enough to make a wintry scene yet. It's 10:00am and I am on my second coffee and looking forward to a relaxing day doing nothing much. The dinner last night went very well and the food washed down with a few bottles of wine was a success. Will post a pic when I manage to get up. Have a great Sunday whatever you are up to. edit The pics of the pie which turned out great, and a good evening was had by all
Good Morning everyone, Freezing cold here on the borders of London...but there's some sun.., and no snow thank goodness, we had that the night before last but it quickly got blown away by the 80mph Gales I had a busy day yesterday, had my annual MOT test done on my car and it passed with flying colours (yeah) so no plans for today other than to chill before going back to work tomorrow Hope you all have a fantabulous Sunday
Mornin fellow seniors. It's 7 above zero under clear skies with calm winds, at 4am on a Sunday morning, here in the beautiful little city on Iowa's east coast, right in the notch. Well, I spent all day yesterday looking for my SS card. I found lots of other stuff, but not that. I got a 2 room apartment. How can one lose anything in 2 rooms? Evidently, I can. So, guess I'll have to see about getting a replacement. Have a great Sunday everyone.
I often wonder where all the many things I have lost and never turned up are, there must be a parallel universe with a room full of them
Good morning everyone, high of 76 today. More shopping today, mainly for Thanksgiving. We bought the turkeys yesterday and went with 2 15 lbs ones instead of one big one. Hope everyone has a great day!
Yes Tom it's unusual at least the one from the Isabella grape is, hard to describe really, but very nice and quite addictive
Im dragging a little here at daughter's and need more coffee...just the fact that my bedroom is on the second floor here is more than Im used to with only one floor at home.
Good Morning, Everyone, happy Sunday! A cold front blew in yesterday, so I need to dig out some more blankets for the strays. I've been going through and reorganizing the pantry. I do that a couple of times a year, one of which is always the week before Thanksgiving. Next up is the freezer. I probably have Thanksgiving leftovers from last year in there, pushed to the back. I'm also preparing some bags for donation as I go through the pantry. I have some food to donate, as well as some other items left over from garage sales, etc. By the time Thanksgiving is over, I'll be wiped out. The sun is shining again, and it's a welcome sight, since it's been raining for several days. Hope everyone's staying warm and having a great weekend.
