The Pit And The Peak Of Your Day

To us it matters where we want to move to.
Remember, you have only visited there, not lived there like we have.
How does -10 degrees and or a snowstorm or blizzard sound to you? Been through all of it there.

We would be going, in part, for some of the “cowboy” lifestyle that is there as well as seeing the Elk and boating/fishing on the lakes.

 

Colorado Springs is big enough for me...think it's about the same size as Fresno.

 

I was there for a few months in winter and I have lived in very cold climates ...been there done that. You think Chicago doesn't get cold or snow or blizzards??

I'm glad it matters to you why you want to move there...but it doesn't matter to me and doesn't influence why I like it there. Apples and oranges.

You have your reasons for liking it...others have other reasons...

Not everyone in Colorado has to like rodeos is what I'm saying with apples and oranges.

My sister has lived in Colorado for at least 35 yrs now....she likes hiking.

I don't understand why you have to keep proving your move to Colorado....just move there and enjoy your life.

I doubt it....you're the one telling me I can't like Colorado. I think I like cold weather more than you do and have lived most of my life in colder climates... -10 is nothing in Chicago with the windchill it has been - 60.

Plus, I would have thought you'd be happy that I agree with you and think Colorado is a great state. I'm all for you moving there @Cody Fousnaugh!

 

Um sort of....the smell of smoke makes me physically ill..Even more energy but nothing to do with it...hungary more...that's about it so far

Pit yesterday: My youngest daughter called me late in the afternoon terrified. She was locked in her bedroom with my two youngest grandkids and her gun. There were four armed robbers who robbed a home two streets down from theirs and the police were all over her neighborhood looking for them. I talked to her to keep her calmer until her husband got home.

This morning the News said they caught one of the robbers and I'm pretty sure he gave up the others although the News said the police were still searching for them.

 

Geez that is awful... So glad they are okay.

 

OMG ////what???? is she ok @Babs Hunt what about the children, did they hear her on the phone in a panic, are they traumatised?
