Ancient aliens built this world. There's no doubt about it. I've seen on TV how aliens helped ancient civilizations build incredible things, and I'm totally convinced. Not only that, but aliens influenced ancient religions, literature and inventions. We would still be in the stone age, had it not been for the aliens. And, if you haven't seen a UFO, you must be blind. They're everywhere. Those aliens really get around.
Every building in America, abandoned or occupied, is haunted. TV shows these guys that sneak around empty asylums, hunting ghosts. And, they find 'em. They feel , hear and see 'em. Of course, we can't see 'em on TV, but they do.
Did you know, no one has found Hitler's body yet? There's people hunting for Hitler's body. Others are still looking for Noah's ark, or for the cup Jesus drank from at the last supper, and who knows what all.
Then there's big foot, yeti and other assorted monsters. With all the sophisticated cameras and other equipment we have these day, thanks to the aliens, no doubt, why doesn't any sharp, no nonsense photos of a yeti, or a UFO or even a space alien exist?
Maybe I'm just overly cynical, or just a crazy old man whose suspicious of everything. Maybe I need to quit watching so much TV.

Haven't you heard Ike all these senior forums are under alien control, they are creaming off all our wisdom and using it to build a new and better universe. When its completed we will all be invited to cross over via a mass teleporter and live there happily ever after all expenses paid.
Its true!! I had an email the other day saying watch TV for the latest news and be packed and ready for when they announce the completion date.
Everything we say on here is being encrypted and stored for use in educating the children in this new universe, so we need to be on best behaviour here, to ensure a good outcome.

If you want to make your own way you can get one of these FREE and get there before the masses arrive:

LOL, if only the teleporter really existed. This could come in handy instead of taking public transportation. I would like to see the bus drivers go on strike if something like this were out there as competition. As for alien existence I do believe there is life on other planets. I can't believe we are completely alone in this vast universe. Have we been visited who knows, there are some things out there that can be easily explained like some of the crop circles and Easter Island. As for the Loch Ness Monster and Big Foot, they are legends and to be honest I would rather they remain such, having them be proven to be true would only cause more issues, that is if they are real.

I once had attended an awards night for the local movies. One speaker caught my attention. He is a movie producer named Attorney Laxa who is also the chairman of the Film Academy. He said that in the olden days, people in the provinces learned to speak Tagalog (the former name of Filipino language) via the movies. Take note that the Philippines is an archipelago of more than 7,000 islands so expect regionalism in terms of culture and different dialects as well. Even if Tagalog was the official Filipino language at the time, more than half of the population don't speak it. But with the Filipino movies, rural folks have learned the language such that they can speak it when there are local tourists.

However, in this digital age, the internet has replaced the film as the tool for learning.

I've learned from watching TV that I have bad breath, body odor, erectile dysfunction, bad ears, bad eyes, bad skin and weak legs. I'm overweight. I don't eat right. I don't drive the right car (I don't drive at all, but ...). I don't own the latest whatchamacallits. Arby's has the meats. I could save $509 on my insurance.

Oh, and that criminals are now called "unsubs". o_O

Ha, I think I could have liked the show "Criminal Minds" but it just makes me want to scream every time I hear them say unsub so I just change channels.

One of these days, when I get ambitious, I'm going to count how many times they say it and work out a per-show average ...

Jeez. And all this time I thought unsub had something to do with Jared Fogle. Ya know, the guy that represented subway in the TV ads. He lost 240 lbs. by eating a strict diet consisting of a whole bunch of subway sandwiches.

Yeah, he recently got 15 years in the hoosgow for a bunch of sex offenses. He has officially been un-sub'd.
And, with a little search on Google I see that Subway has had a few people who tried to rob their stores and have been un-sub'd as well.
As a note: I am sure he (Fogle) will be able to keep that slim body snacking on jail house minimum nutritional value food.

To be a tad more serious, I THOUGHT I learned that when I go to Hardee's I could order up a pretty girl. Their ads clearly look like they have girls (who like wet hamburgers) on the menu so I went to a Hardee's and ordered one up. They didn't have any in stock I guess and with a quick glance behind the counter I found out what must have happened to them.
After eating all of those wet hamburgers they got a little flumpy and wound up working the cash registers.

One more thing I learned from watching "Gunsmoke" reruns. All the hotel rooms in Dodge city are structural nightmares. There's all sorts of weird structures protruding from the walls at strange angles.

Corie what is the main language you speak? My daughter-in-law speaks Tagalog and some other dialect, but I forget what it is. She only speaks English to me. :)

The dialect I use is Tagalog and I do not know of any other dialect because I was born and raised in Metro Manila which has Tagalog for the dialect. In the recent years, Tagalog was renamed Filipino to mean the official dialect of our nation. Even our president uses Tagalog in his State of the Nation speech. But the Filipino language now has a lot of English words particularly with electronic items like computer, tablet, cellphone, wifi, etc. There are no translations and if ever there is, it is just invented and not being used.
