@Holly Saunders I have 3 wonderful brothers and 5 wonderful sisters. Thanks for your prayers for my sister. They are greatly appreciated.
Pit: Wife went back to work this morning. Peak: Continuing to pack things. Our walls are going to look very, very bare. Getting some things together for (hopefully) a Garage Sale the complex has twice a year. Due to lack of participation last Oct., I was told the one coming up may not happen. We sure hope it does, because we have a number of things we'd like to sell before moving out of here next year.
In that picture Babs, your brother in the middle of the last picture looks the most like your dad... ...such a lovely family
I love having a big family Holly. But it is hard having so many people you love and worrying about them when they have health problems...or any other serious problems for that matter.
oooh yes there's that side to it too of course. I am one of 7...and my eldest brother has progressive MS...
@Babs Hunt , please put your smiley face back on avatar . Sorry to hear all the bad news. Seems it is always something. My BFF is sweating a heart problem no one knew anything about-and possible stomach issues. My hubbys close friend in middle 50's being tested for MS and Dementia of all things. On the good note- my daughter who has been so sick with numerous issues for last 2 years..well the real problem? HER JOB, and she quit yesterday! Yeah! I hope and pray for all that things turn out for the better
Sorry to hear all that @Gloria Mitchell ...but yeeeeah for your daughter leaving her job , that's exactly the reason I had to take early retirement, unfortunately 7 months on, my health hasn't returned to normal... but your daughter is young, so hopefully she'll get well very soon, and find a job she loves.. The Pit :... @Babs Hunt has still not returned to the forum, I wish she would reconsider, and come back, we miss her. Peak:... I broke the door right off my tumble dryer, hinges shattered, the whole 9 yards.. thought we'd have to buy a new dryer, but super hubs has fixed it, after making whole new hinges, and the door is stronger than ever..
Pit.........drivers here! Sure isn't an area for Seniors to drive in. Very faced-paced and young. Peak.......Good Mexican dinner last night. Start getting our boat ready for the water. Two weeks from tonight, our time changes back to Daylight Savings. Love Daylight Savings time.
Pit: Woke to a steady rain, that lasted all day. Problem started when I went to get my umbrella. My nice, double canopy, vented black one was missing. Had to use one that can't handle any wind and is more of one I use around the house. ( Found out later, wife had let my son 'borrow' it. ) Peak: The sound the rain makes, early morning, on an umbrella walking through the Park. Like rain on your tent when you and your buddies 'camped out' in your backyard, and the ghost stories are in full stride.
Pit : Heavy snow here and high winds, driving is treacherous.... Peak : I don't have to go out in it... Taken yesterday ..and yesterday and this morning I had these visitors to the garden....
