Sounds like a great day Terry. It's 25 degrees here in Iowa, under cloudy skies at 5am. Supposed to hit the mid 40's later. Our snow is melting away. I was out yesterday in the sun and temps in the 40's. Was a pretty nice day. We got rain scheduled for tomorrow. That should wash away the rest of the snow.

Good morning all! A chilly 28, but sunny day around here! I replaced my broken fence post yesterday, and all is well. In a half hour, I will go up to church,and help Rich assemble the two 7 foot artificial Christmas trees. I am hoping for... and planning on a restful day! May you all have one as well!
Back from our tram trip it's 5:30 pm here now and good to be back in the warm, it was -4c (25f) in the park and like a winter wonderland with a hoar frost and snow. Will post some pics later. Hope your days are going well
I dont know how tall my daughter's tree is but its tall! Her living room where the tree is has a very high ceiling as there is no second floor above her living room and its a 2 story house. She will put it up this weekend...I watch!
It sounds as if everyone's gearing up for the holiday season! I'm in the middle of cooking and cleaning. I had to pull out the actual Winter blankets, since it's been chilly here in the house lately. No doubt cooking a turkey will warm up the house for quite a while, though . It doesn't seem like it's only Tuesday, since I started my Thanksgiving cooking yesterday. I like to not have to rush around at the last minute. I have a few more calls to make and chores to do, then will head off to do the cooking and relax a little while that's going on. Our snow is pretty much gone. It's 39 degrees under overcast skies, heading for a high of 50 degrees. It's 3am here in the Iowa part of the corn belt. Gotta stick around today and wait for a grocery delivery. Rain coming tomorrow. I ordered more snow, but rain will do for now. Have a great day y'all.
Morning Terry, Ike , and all.. Acccch snow...are you in Russia at the moment terry... ? It's a wet start to the day here on the edge of London...but the forecast says Sun about mid morning, but the skies look so dark and heavy I'm having difficult believing we'll see any sign of sunshine today.Day off for me today...got quite a few things I need to catch up on..but they're only minor things...a bit of ironing, a couple of errands, a visit to the surgery..and then enjoy the rest of my day off. Have a lovely thanksgiving tomorrow everyone..
