    Evening all...

It started off as a lovely sunny morning.. Got a load of chores done, cleaning mainly.. then went for my shower, stepped in, and the water was frrrreeezzzing!! I nearly died of hypothermia, I'd already wet my hair by then, so I had to continue to have a freezing cold shower...*yikes* summer fine, but in winter when the temps are ony 5 degrees..that was no fun!!

Raining now...typical..can't get a full sunny day.. it's just after 5pm gonna be dark soon...

Hope you're all having a good day...

That's my worst nightmare having long hair. So when I wash it in the shower I make sure that I do it quickly and the first thing....always afraid of water turning cold for some reason or even giving out considering my water heater is on it's last legs.

I have very long hair...and of course , the first thing I do is stand under the shower head and wash my hair..it wasn't until I stood under it, I realised the water was freezing cold.. . I tried to turn up the thermostat but it wasn't getting any warmer, so I had no choice to go through with washing an showering..OMG!! it was horrible... plus after I'd shampooed I knew I'd have to go through the same procedure again with the Conditioner. I was dancing around the shower trying to soap my body and avoid the cold water knowing that the freezing cold water was going to be used to be rinsing off any second..... I was squealing

I managed to get the water heated up after I got out of the shower, I have no idea why it went cold..must have used too much when I was cleaning..

It's afternoon here, but still wanted to put this now, however, I do know that most of you have absolutely no interest in this "thing" I done this morning, but..........oh well.

I ordered a two-year subscription to Farm & Ranch Magazine and a one-year subscription to Country Magazine. Farm and Ranch is obviously about farming and ranching with photos and stories. Country is about living in the country with interviews/photos of country-loving folks. When we lived in Colorado, we had both of these magazines and we miss them.

Heck, if I could find forum websites for Senior farmers, ranchers and rodeo stuff to talk with, I seriously doubt I'd be here. But, guess not.

I like this painting. Makes me think some of my ancestors might have been literate.

Good morning friends, it's a cloudy morning here so far at 8:30 am, I don't have any particular plans, but having spent some time reading stuff on the internet, I have decided to have another go at reading some of the works of Dostoyevsky who I haven't read since I was a teenager, so I have downloaded a copy of "The Brothers Karamazov" which is a deep dark philosophical novel, of nearly 700 pages [IMG] ......most reviewers on the internet say it's a life changing book, and purportedly the best novel ever written...... his house which is now a museum is only 150 yards from here, which we visited some 10 or more years ago, I recall it was very interesting and must go again sometime......................since I started writing this the sun has come out and the sky is a clear blue like yesterday........ have a good Tuesday everyone... here are a few paintings on the theme of relaxing in warmer times...

    Good morning all...

    tuesday morn.jpeg

It's a bit of a dull morning, but at least it's dry and according to the forecast it's going to be the only dry day for the next week... so at some point today I must get myself out of the house for a walk...

@Terry Page , those are stunning paintings, my favourite type...

@Cody Fousnaugh , no you're wrong, we are all interested in what we're all doing with our various and very different lives which is why we check in each morning with each other. I hope you're interested in what we're doing, even if it's not what YOU do... I have never rodeo'd (is that a word)?.. but I live in the country so I would be interested in reading the farm and ranch magazine.. but even if I was a townie.. I'd still be interested in what you have to say about your day, just as I am with everyone else..

BTW.. here's a link to a forum of which you may be interested

    Have a Super Tuesday everybody...

There we go..it's 1pm, I've had my walk , and I've also driven to the supermarket and got the groceries in, filled the petrol tank, and picked up my prescription from the Pharmacy... ...also got the bird feeders in the garden refilled.... Not bad for 2 hours... :D

Dunno why you had to order them @Cody Fousnaugh. They were both in the doctor's office the last time I went.
All you have to do is find a doctor who has country people going to him/ her and bingo, instant subscription with your prescription.
I used to go to a doctor who had Scientific American and was allowed to take it home with me.
They might even have a subscription to Country Living on Mars to fit in on the Star Wars theme. :)
