I don't read Fiction. I read History and Documentaries on the subjects I find interesting.

HOWEVAH...if I were to read Fiction, I would start with Zane Grey's "30,000 on the Hoof", just because of the title!

Tolstoy's War and Peace was written to give people bragging rights about finishing a long novel.

The same with Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment".

But those are both fiction, Hal.

    Yes, I know, Don.
I never said I read them...I just heard that they were long novels.

Stopped in at the Dollar General while running errands this morning. Browsed through their very low priced book selections while I was there. Picked up Haunted Heritage a definitive collection of North American Ghost stories by Michael Norman and Beth Scott. Should be interesting and hair raising reading. :)

I'm really enjoying the North American ghost stories. There is so much history given along with the stories that I am learning about much more that just ghosts. It's taking me arm chair traveling too. :)

I am re-reading a Brother Cadfael mystery upstairs, and Father Brown downstairs. Light reading for a busy time of year getting ready for Spring.
