Pit........still living here, but having enough patience, because wife keeps reassuring me that we will move. Peak........very good health review (consultation about lab work) from my VA doctor this AM. After being out in 8AM traffic, to go to see my VA doctor, I am 100% GLAD I'm retired. People here drive really crazy to get to work. In and out of traffic, speeding........simply not carrying about any other drivers. Wife has the rest of today and tomorrow and then she has 9 days off (5 days of vacation). Some of the days not so nice, but some look to be very nice. Different things planned, but nothing that would be overnight anywhere.
Your "pit" is still living "here", but on the flip of that, you are still LIVING and have a good health report so you may be living a long life yet. I am grateful for every new day.
A number of things, but doesn’t look like the weather will cooperate for some of them. Just glad she’s taking the time off.....she really needs it! Her next week off, in July, will be much, much nicer. Fly to Colorado and also visit southeastern Wyoming, better known as Cheyenne, Wyoming.
It was my wife's car. Yeah, it's major. It needs a new motor, radiator, oil pan, and a bunch of other stuff. It's still at the shop.
YES, extremely happy for the health report. Now, to be able to control this osteoarthritis pain AND move out of Florida and then I’ll really be “hunky-dory”!
Update, guess I will keep the Mr Coffee- only dislike the fact there is not back light to the small clock on it...makes it hard to set.
Pit for today: I will not be leaving for my sister's in Florida and the beach on May 20th! My sister's oldest son called and wants to bring his "serious" girlfriend home to meet his Mom and Dad and he wants to do that during the time I was supposed to be spending with her. I graciously bowed out for something as special as this. My sister has been waiting years for her oldest son to find his "soul mate" and it looks like he finally has. I can go spend time with her later. Peak for today: Finding the perfect privacy fencing to block that big duplex staring us in the face every day now.
Glad to see you have your fence up and it is satisfactory. I think the peak of my day is often going to the "Good Morning Thread" and seeing the photos and artwork that people have posted, especially is the dreary grayness that still surrounds us here.
