Truth is, she'd be much happier as the NFL Commissioner. She tried for the position a few years ago but sadly, most people who watch football didn't want a female running a professional men only game. I did write "sadly" but maybe there's a point to be had and I just cannot see it.
I had to think about that a couple of times. Her parents are from India which does indeed make her "Indian". I thought for a moment you meant Indian as in Native American Indian and my brain went.....Huh? I thought she was a Methodist from below the Mason Dixon line! But yeah, she is a Methodist and also born to folks from India and yup, it would indeed be something if she were elected.
I'm not wanting a woman for president nor someone overly conservative. I've never thought much of Pence from the get go. I'd like to see someone like Michael Bloomberg. He seems to be a no non sense guy. Yeah, I'd settle for him.
@Don Alaska "Colin Powell would have been punished for being a Republican. Worse. As Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Powell ordered several thousand surface to air missiles be given to, and sent there, to Iran, allegedly for her own self-defense. Too bad he did that without the approval (or even consulting with) Congress; it was in reality an ilegal act, treasonous actually. Therefore, ineligible to become President. Several of those missiles were later fired by Iran at civilian airliners in flight. I actually care less about that than I do about his scorn for our Constitution. Frank
Like the Bushes, Condoleeza Rice and Colin Powell are both neoconservatives who are in favor of a world economy, in which the United States would be at a disadvantage, and American involvement everywhere. In recent hears, Colin Powell may have moved even further to the left, and is probably more of a liberal than a neocon. Although it's not yet popular for politicians to say that outright, they would be pleased to have the United States placed under the jurisdiction of the United Nations or some interim body, like a North American Union.
Condi Rice: 'Enough' With Trump - USA Today https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/.../10/...condoleezza-rice/91802176/ Oct 8, 2016 - Add Condoleezza Rice to the list of Republicans now opposed to Donald Trump. "Enough! Donald Trump should not be President," the former secretary of State said in a Facebook posting late Saturday, "He should withdraw." Rice did not endorse Hillary Clinton, however, saying on that "as a Republican, ...
She is a NeoCon. I wouldn't expect her to be a fan of Trump. She is a very smart lad, however, and knows a lot about Russia.
I used to think Colon Powell would make a good president because he was more intelligent than most republican politicians. However his time has past. I'm not sure Rice could be elected so soon aftefr Obama and we don't need a woman so soon after this mess we've got now. Maybe his wife was ther smartest one in urging him not to run for anything. The Rupublican party has some good people, no doubt, if they can be found.
Sometimes I think that Trump is "grooming" his daughter to run for President. At first it seemed to be that way to me and it also seemed to me that she was all for it. Lately, I think even if he was and is doing this....she is no longer interested in becoming President after seeing how they treat her dad and how "crazy" our Government has become.
@Betty Jones I thought that, too, based on his talk while active in Washington. Then I learned later....... Frank
After 8 years of Trump I think another business man or woman, no names come to mind No more career politicians please.
