I'll try that because, seeing the Mexican people dressed in Aztec Indian attire and doing the Fire Dance is pretty cool looking.

Actually, I'm still learning how to use this camera. For these "action" photos, I took the camera off of Auto Mode and put into Shutter Speed Mode and adjusted the speed.......which made the picture come out pretty darn good, if I do say so. Auto Mode doesn't do very good-to-pretty bad for "action" type photos. Camera takes video clips in HD, which is nice.

You're right auto mode is useless for action photos... what speed did you put it on?

Where were the pics taken ?

Have a small wheel, just behind the shutter button, for adjusting the speed. Camera has no view finder, only screen on the back. That screen tells me when it's ok to take photo.

Photos were taken at Don Juan's Mexican Restaurant on San Jose Blvd, here in Jacksonville, FL

Great pictures, @Cody Fousnaugh. I still don't know how to do a lot of what my camera can do.

Ours is the same way........numerous "bells and whistles", but am trying to learn all of those. One thing I have found out, I can't take "action" photos in "Auto Mode". Shutter just isn't fast enough in that Mode. And, in Manual Mode, "oh boy"..........pretty much everything has to be set, from shutter speed to aperture to exposure.

I have a viewfinder on mine , I won't have one without a VF, I may as well just use my phone. Trying to take a shot in the sun without a VF is virtually impossible.. at best it's random...

Yes all Digital cameras have an adjusting wheel, I just wondered what speed you'd set it at for your dancer pics..:)

We haven't seen any new Digital camera's here with a VF, only the screen in the back. Our last Digital had both, until the screen in the back went out and we found out that the cost to have it fixed would be more than a new one would cost.
I've never had a problem dealing with sunlight and using the Canon PowerShot. But, just looked on Amazon and there is "screen hoods" sold to attach to the screen to keep to much sunlight out. May get one of those. Very low costing.
