I microwaved a bag of frozen mixed veggies since that's about all I had at home and I was too tired and not feeling well...sounds pretty bad but it really wasn't because this mix had a few baby potatoes in it.
Yesterday I made meatballs, tomato sauce; today I braised a pot roast to have with some kind of frozen veggie. I'll see what's in the freezer later.
Thanks, Ruby....but not really. Just started my antibiotic dose, so hopefully soon! Think I'll have the same thing for dinner as I had for lunch....Trader Joe's Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup. Might make some sort of grilled cheese type sandwich to go with it if I feel up to it.
Chicken drumsticks baked in the oven in a mushroom, onion sauce... Steamed and smashed carrots with peas added.. Great for the sauce.....
Best Salad I've Ever Tasted (if I don't mind saying so myself): Fresh kale, raw purple cabbage, raw carrots, roasted sesame seeds, sliced roasted almonds, balsamicvinegar/oliveoil/garlic dressing, cracked pepper, fine sea salt, fresh lemon drizzled on top
No we don't have any appetite due to the Kefir and Lisa is on a losing weight regime before she comes to the UK at the end of the month, where she always puts on weight.
@Terry Page , Lisa looks a lot thinner in the last pic I saw of her....I'm sure she doesn't need to lose too much and you need to gain. I could never eat just one meal a day, I eat something every 2 hours.
I used to do the eat every two hours or 6 small meals a day, and then the 5/2 fasting diet, but life is much simpler on one meal a day plus kefir, also I am never hungry. I am a steady 155 lbs which suits my build, Lisa keeps her weight a secret but dipping below normal gives capacity for over-eating when in the UK
Okay...I always worry when at my daughter's or my son's that I will gain because of all the eating out and the types of food in their pantries like cookies and chips, etc. I never gain though, think it's all the extra activity.
