Well thank you for the compliment @Don Alaska , but I doubt that could be the reason Cody was asking. Over the years I've put my picture on my avatar many times , so don't think my face is anything new to him,,lol
Actually just trying to play catch up here. My goodness skip few days on here an begin to feel lost trying to catch up on everyone. @Chrissy Cross , I share your joy in paying off a car. We did also, but then bought a good used truck, but really need it. Have not had any real bummer days..or jump fer joy days, but been nice around here. Do not faint- we went somewhere the other day- we never go anywhere. Any the hubby was off two days in a row and he wanted to get us out for a bit. Anyway we went to see Heritage Farmstead Museum . This is an ole family farm that is actually inside a town! Was amazed that this place was right there in the middle of a high traffic area. Built in 1891. Will not bore you with the details, but this was just amazing place. We enjoyed every minute of the tour, that lasted over two hours. @Holly Saunders , hope your well and doing ok. Guess I better hush and go back to reading all the things i have missed.
Glad you had a good time @Gloria Mitchell ...sounds interesting. Also hope @Holly Saunders is having a grand old time in Spain....forget when she's coming back. Hope to see lots of photos.
Hola mi amigos....I'm back from glorious Spain and to a really hot Uk......I haven't read any posts yet, sooo much to catch up on here which will take me a while because I have lots to do here at home. See the 'Morning Thread'....yes, as usual I have LOADS of photos @Chrissy Cross
Welcome home, @Holly Saunders , we have all missed you while you were gone ! Hoping that you had a wonderful vacation and visit with your family and grand furkids, too. Looking forward to stories of your trip and pictures of Spain once you get rested up again.
Bless you @Yvonne Smith , thanks for missing me... I'll see what I can do about getting some photos resized, and get them on before too long. I had a wonderful time, the furkids went bananas when they saw me, and my little digger who loves me more than his whole being was delighted to be able to play ball with his ''granny'' because mama doesn't play ball with him now, because the older dogs can't play now on the concrete , and they'd fight over the ball...so I managed to play with him in the orange grove on the grass away from the other dogs ...he had the time of his life, and the day after we got home, my daughter said Digger moped around the house all day long. awwwww!!
It got up to 81 F. this afternoon. It has been a few years since it has gotten this warm here--peak When we got home from an appointment, the attached greenhouse was 118 F. and stuff looked cooked--pit
@Holly Saunders You are absolutely stunning! I had better quit staring so long at the pic...... Frank
It's really hot here too , we had 90 degrees here yesterday.. Not as hot as many places in the USA, but we don't have AC here ...very few houses in the UK has it...so it's miserable when it's as hot as this with only fans indoors to try and sleep. Not that I'm complaining, I like the heat, but we're just not used to so much all at once here in England, and this has been going on now for more than a month now, most people's lawns are parched too..and the resin garden furniture is melting as well as the tar on the roads...
Pit: Having a Cat scan with Contrast and a Biopsy done at the hospital today on my head , and the Nurse breaking the needle in the vein in my hand when he tried to insert the IV Cannula ...oooh the pain....he had to fetch a more experienced nurse to insert the Cannula into my arm instead Peak: After a few weeks of hot sun and chlorine, my hair was like straw so I went to the Salon and had it deeply conditioned, cut & blow dried, it looks much better already ..it cheered me up after the pain caused by the inept nurse
Looks very pretty @Holly Saunders!! Do you have layers? Now that your hair looks so pretty ...whatcha gonna do? Go home and pull it back? Hubby has to take you out for dinner or something.
yes I always have layers CC... and no I didn't put it up when I got home, ...although by tomorrow I probably will. No chance of hubs taking me out..he's only just got home from work (it's past 8pm).... and he'll be in bed by 9.30 for a 5am alarm.....anyway in all honesty...after 2 weeks of spending all my time with him, I'm glad he's out of my hair (s'cuse the pun) and back at work ...he's got a 3 day weekend off this weekend..so that'll be more than enough for me..lol
