Boy, I didn't realize you were getting all the scans on your HEAD. Have you had an MRI or MRA? Don't know what the rules are in the UK, but I have met some pretty incompetent nurses in Radiology/Imaging Departments. Usually the techs are better if they are allowed to start IVs. Now you have ME concerned, Holly. I am glad the salon trip was recuperative. It looks really good from the back!
Thanks for your concern Don, yes I've had an MRI on my head a few months ago too...in Spain there would be little gap between treatments or tests, but here it's taking months sometimes between tests, and in the meantime everything is getting worse, and the longer it goes on the more I worry about the pain... Fortunately this time, I only have to wait 3 weeks for the results of this Scan today and further action.. unless they find something very serious, then I would hope they would at least call me in before the 3 week date.. Thanks for the complement about my hair it looks nice from the front too..but the back looks better..

@Don Alaska I thought for a moment you might mean that, but then re-thought the fact that you had not used the "@" sign, so perhaps was thinking of some other character, or did not recognize Kennedy.......a good example here of illustration why my wife questions how I think. I think. Seriously now, did you recall Kennedy played the same person, same name, in both "Airport" and "Airport 77"? I guess you did not want to hazard a remark possibly inflammatory to @Holly Saunders regarding the resemblance........I meant it to be complimentary, but, well........you know...... Frank

Good morning everyone, Pit: Awakened to another day without the slightest chance of rain. There hasn't been any rain where I live (central Europe) for many weeks now and we seem to be in for another drought with weather conditions like in the savannah or even the Sahara. Nature looks like is was already fall with trees shedding their brown leaves. Would never ever have imagined as a boy that central Europe might once have a severe water problem and tropical weather conditions with torrential rain, devastating thunderstorms and tornadoes and floods. Peak: Will be watching the Wimbledon women's final Kerber vs Williams live which is gonna start soon. Kate and Meghan, Kate being an ardent tennis player like myself, will also be present not accompanied by their hubbies. I'm afraid I don't know. The pic was taken in 2010 (see source/caption) on the occasion of the new roof having been installed. Don't know who was playing. Today it was packed and sold out and a lot of former US-top tennis players like Martina Navratilova, Billy Jean King but also other celebrities like Tiger Woods, Lewis Hamilton were present. PS: Yeah, Angelique Kerber won her first title at Wimbledon beating Serena Williams who didn't seem to have been 100% fit after her hard delivery 10 months ago and a near-death experience.
