I've always eaten the pork egg rolls. Think I'll try the verge ones; substitute it for a salad. My last two meals have been breakfast burritos with a good portion of Joe T Garcia's picante salsa spread over them. Thinking of having another tonight. At meal time I have to watch what I tangle with since chewing is a big problem.
What's in that bowl? Some kind of broth or soup, maybe a broth to dip the egg roll? Anyway, looks good.
Tonights dinner is a toss up...as have been a bit under today...with um stomach virus and lack of sleep. But last night was grilled rib eye and chicken..with baked potatoe and salad.
They can be it really depends on how they are cooked. The chickpeas in the frozen entree were firm outside and creamy inside. Tonight I have a piece of fried fish and sliced cucumber with onions in a sour cream dressing.
@Chrissy Cross Fresno must have grown considerably since we drove through the first time in the 1960s. We had camped overnight in Sequioia Park, then headed northwards with destination S.F. I seem to recall a town amongst much agricultural area called Visalia; is it near Fresno? Frank
Visalia is about an hour drive from Fresno...it's a small town. Populations of Fresno today I'd more than 500,000.
I am slow cooking bbq stew meat....I have no earthly idea what I am going to make out of this. Thinking some rice some asperagus...um and whatever
You guys are making me hungry....I don't cook much especially in the summer, so looking forward to winter when I do SOME cooking...mainly soups and Chili. Now I live on Lean Cuisine or sometimes the more expensive ones like Amy's or one that's called Smart something. Got a few on sale yesterday for half price...$2.00..that's a bargain! Also eat tuna or chicken salad a lot in the summer also. Sometimes just a piece of healthy bread with avocado and a fried egg...YUM! Of course I'll have a day when I binge a 5 serving bag of chips in one day I'm a strange eater but it works for me.
