Great @Cody Fousnaugh! And I meant that sincerely...life is too short and too precious for petty squabbles on forums.
Well said, Chrissy ! Also , sorry to hear about your good friend passing away last night. I think that is something that we know can start to happen as we (and our friends) keep getting older. Sending you hugs , and prayers for your friend’s family .
Thanks @Yvonne Smith ...she's not the first in my high school to die but the first of my very best, closest friends. Only had two very close best friends.
Good morning all... Still pretty poorly, so not much to say at the moment... Lovely day here, hope you have a good day everyone...
Very sad to hear about your friend @Chrissy Cross. One day everything and everyone is fine and the next day the unexpected comes before us in the form of one of our friends or family has been suddenly taken away from us. No warning, no time to get ready for it and no logic to it but it just happens and the only things we have are some good memories and the ability to miss and morn the loss. I believe your friend is indeed fortunate in one respect for she does have you to carry her memory forward and you to morn for her. Such life long and eternal friends are very hard to find. I will indeed bring your name before God and ask Him to give you support, comfort, a lasting peace and perhaps even something to make you smile as you remember those good times you had with your friend.
No, I didn't see her often. I would visit her when my mom still lived in Pittsburgh and she visited me once in Chicago ...just sent Christmas cards etc...and FB though the last few years. Did you get your diagnosis @Holly Saunders? Sorry you feel bad. Thanks @Bobby Cole!
Get off your butt, You’re in a rut, There’s so many things to do, Go out and run, Get a tan in the sun, It’s better than painting the loo.........
At least I am not waking up to this in my front yard............. https://www.facebook.com/groups/northidaholife/permalink/2172059403038122/
Thanks @Cody Fousnaugh ...it was a shock but deep down I knew it was coming. Both her parents died young of heart disease and she was very overweight with health issues.
Holly, I just found out yesterday that my wife's friend's husband, has been experiencing quite a bit of pain in his buttocks, shoulder and legs. I've known him for 17 years, but my wife has known his wife since high school in the mid 60's. He told me that, if it weren't for his higher tolerance of pain, he wouldn't even be able to get out of bed some mornings. He says it's all muscle pain. He's had a number of injuries thru his life, wrist, back and fairly seriously injured in Vietnam. He recovered from his Vietnam injury, but some arthritis has now set in where those injuries were. His PCP prescribed 50mg Tramadol for him, which is helping, but he thinks he needs a higher mg. Wife and I didn't know anything about his pain until yesterday. We already knew his wife was suffering quite a bit from arthritis pain and Lupus, but she is doing somewhat better. I had called him to tell him about some of the anxiety I was having over this upcoming laser cataract surgery next Wednesday. Then he told me what was going on with him. My "anxiety" seemed petty compared to his pain, but I get daily pain in my left shoulder. Not serious pain, but still pain that I have to take a prescription for.
