I was just reminded of another antic pulled by Feinstein in the 1980s when she was mayor of San Francisco. It was during the Nightstalker investigation. The police knew the criminal used the same shoes in every assault and probably considered then his "Lucky" shoes. The police had been keeping that secret, so they could use it in the prosecution of the criminal when caught. The cops, however, made the mistake of telling Dianne Feinstein, and she released the information to the media without consulting the police. They eventually caught the perpetrator, but the shoes were never found--he discarded them when Feinstein's news reached the media. Although a smart person, she is devious, self-centered and very arrogant.

She doesn't own her own home, either. I'll bet she will soon.

Feinstein is indeed a very shrewd uh....lady and probably sees things in a different light than normal people would.
When asked questions, she more than likely leans toward more specific questions such as:
Did you “conveniently” leak the letter in order to cause a delay for Kavenaugh? You see, the wording I used is more specific than, “did you leak the letter”?

To me, she probably cannot answer the question, “are you a woman”? It would have to include the descriptive words like lying, conniving, bitter and self centered in order for her to answer promptly and correctly.

But then, I could be wrong............

And to all the above, I say Baloney. Democrats represent their constitutes just as Republicans do. It's a matter of opinion, it's what devides us. It's the same as devided the original thirteen colonies, whether to have a small central government or a large or a large government with more power with a few ticks added as we have come along.

Many of our Founders were very much against the development of political parties. We have always had a degree, more or less, of corruption in government but this is the first time that I have witnessed such a blatant disregard for decency, and such a clear attitude of the end justifies the means. For that matter, I am as upset with the political cowards in the Republican Party as I am with the pond scum that represents the Democrat Party in the Senate.

From my view in the balcony the scum looks about even on both sides. I listened to the Committee today I liked whaat the senator from Lojuisiana said in his talk about confirming, Liked what Lindsey Graham had to say and several others. Liked the conclution they arrived at. What we need is not so many right or left wingers but more moderates who can and will try to compromise a little bit with each other and attempt to get along.

@Holly Saunders / thank you for asking...
    1. I dismiss the severity of the issue based on the fact she waited 35 years to bring this up.
    2. Unfortunately for Christine Blasey Ford , her voice grates on my nerves.
    3. This info was held too long before becoming public, this was not coincidence it was on purpose.
4.FBI investigation, should have happened before the hearing.
5.The leak could have came from one of her so called friends that she talked to about it.
    6. I do not feel sorry for her..trust me lady you do not know what sexual abuse is.
    7. We all knew something like this would happen when he was nominated and why.
I could go on, but ... I figure they both have lied to some degree. So, what else is new... where he may have blocked the whole thing from his
mind, her's has become increasingly vivid..hummmm
I say let him office, he is screwed either way from this point on.

Thus far, it’s only her word again his and a whole slew of people backing him up.

    But here’s the problem.
A hearing before the Senate is not a trial, it’s an examination. They’re supposed to be extracting evidence that will lead to his credibility and his good or bad character.
The accuser doesn’t bear the burden of proof as she would have to provide in a trial before a jury and thus far, even though it’s only her word, it’s enough to place some doubt upon his character.

Yes, I do believe something did happen on the night in question, but no, based on what I have heard, read and the vetting processes he has already passed, I do not believe that Kavenaugh was the guy who did it.

That's exactly my thoughts too @Bobby Cole . I absolutely believe someone or 2 tried it on with her... ( and most women could tell the same tale)... but I don't believe he was the one!!. What's more I think she knows he wasn't the one, so she's telling the tale as it happened but with the wrong person in the frame !! That's not to say that by watching this man as I have during this examination, that I would trust him as far as I could throw a grand piano, but I don't believe he's guilty of her accusations. However, despite the fact it's not a trial, this will stick to him forever..his character and career will always be tainted by this!!

I'm thinking along similar lines that something did happen that was sufficient to make a lasting impression on a fifteen-year-old girl.

I listened to the Ford/Kavanaugh testimony and have reasonable doubts about what may have taken place. I also have some concerns over the idea of repressed memories being brought out in therapy sessions, the lack of facts and the lack of testimony from others that may have been present. Maybe this new investigation will bring some facts to light that will help to draw a fair conclusion as to what really happened.

At this point considering the fact that we are talking about what might have happened between a fifteen-year-old girl and a seventeen-year-old boy balanced with the facts of what Kavanaugh has achieved as an adult I would confirm him.

We'll just have to wait and see what, if anything, the new investigation uncovers.

I am afraid though that no matter what the new investigation uncovers it will not satisfy the rabid Senators on both sides. We will still hear claims that the investigation was rushed, they didn't dig deep enough, didn't talk to the right people, they didn't ask the right questions, etc...

But here’s another problem with the investigation idea.
He’s already been vetted 9 times by the FBI and other agencies which is why the FBI already said that it was no longer their duty to do anything else because they have already performed the due diligence that was expected.
President Trump ordered them to do it all again but I’m pretty sure that the FBI will just go over the information they already have and make sure the t’s are crossed the the i’s dotted........
