Could someone please help me? I have absolutely no idea how to private message someone or send a friend request, Could someone please help?
I could be wrong, it's been a long time, but I think you have to have a certain amount of posts before you can PM someone..not many ..but when you are able , you simply click on their name and it says ''start a conversation''...
I think that you have your privacy setting closed, so no one can see your profile or message you, @Jo Jujo . When I tried to sent you a welcome message, and offer help if you needed it; the message would not go through, and I ended up just posting it on the forum for you instead. Click on your name at the top right corner of the page, and a box will open up with options. This is how you can change your avatar, add a signature, or Modify your profile. If you click on “privacy”, it will show you the settings, and then you can set everything for members to be able to see your profile and to message you. As Holly said, you only need to click on a person’s avatar, and a little box opens and one of the things it offers, is “start a conversation”. However, when I click on your avatar, that option does not show, which mean you have your privacy set to where you can’t message, and no one can message you.
You're more than welcome Jo.... don't hesitate to ask Ken or Yvonne anything...they are our Admin... and if they're not around, any one of us will help you, we all had to learn when we first joined, and some are still learning now!
When I click on your avatar, it still does not show a place to message, so maybe it only works after you have made a certain amount of posts, or if it is something else, then @Ken Anderson can get it working for you.
@Jo Jujo, your privacy settings were set to not allow private conversations. I have toggled that for you, so that you should be able to. Please let me know if you have any trouble with it.
